best book ive read in years
this book pulled me out of a huge reading slump. started off slow.. but it was well worth pushing through to get to the end. took about a week to get through the first half, then only 2 days to finish the second half of the book. i love that maas didn’t rush the ending and also didn’t leave any loose ends. if you like harry potter, game of thrones, lord of the rings, etc you will most definitely like this!

Defintly worth the read!
I started this book on whim on my day off due to all the reviews I saw on an app. I went in thinking It would take me a week as I usually don’t read this genre but This book was an absolute soul sucker for me. I finished it in three days. I bought the second book the next day because I consumed the first 30 chapters in one day and read the last 16 in two nights before bed. Definitely get the set if you’re going to start this series!

Good start to the series
I really enjoyed the last 150 pages of this book. The first half dragged a little bit but given that this is the first book in the series, I expected that. The main character Feyre is very likeable and the world established by the author is beautiful. Everyone told me the series only gets better from here on out so I can’t wait to read the rest!

A mix of Beauty and the Beast, The Tale of Cupid and Psyche, and the Ballad of Tam Lin. I was hooked from the beginning! The protagonist and side characters are all complex characters. The world is beautiful and vivid and the romance is a bit of a slow-burn. The ending is fantastic and will leave you immediately reaching for the next book in the series!

You will fly through each book and wish you had the next ready to read immediately. Sarah J. Maas does such a good job of getting you hooked on the story line and the characters. This book feels like an immersive experience – like you’re physically there in the realms she describes. AND – can’t forget about all the spiciness this book contains. Read through it in 3 days. Zero regrets. Only regret is not having the box set so I could immeditaely start the next book (which I devoured equally as fast).
