I LOVE THIS ARRIS HEATED VEST! I especially like the fleece version which is also lined on the inside of the vest with a softer velvelty type material. It has very sturdy zippers and it’s perfect that it also comes with zipper expansion attachments to expand the size if you are heavier weight or you want to share it with your friend, spouse, or siblings. The battery lasts 3 hours on the Highest heat setting, but it will last a lot longer, around 4 plus hours on the lower settings. This is a must have heated Vest if you like to be outside during cold weather! It keeps you toasty warm and I noticed that my back muscles stayed loose, usually in cold weather my back muscles lock up and clench stiff and it makes me want to go indoors, but with this Arris heated vest I can stay outdoors and keep running errands for a lot longer periods of time because my back muscles stay warm and relaxed! Another positive is the 2 front heating panels sit lower toward bellyWhich is way better at keeping pockets warm, some other brands have the heat elements on top of the breast area, but I find that annoying because I’d rather have warm hands! ARRIS puts them in the best spots for most effective heat throughout the vest. ARRIS also has the most heating elements within the vest as compared to other brands who only have 3-4 heating elements, but Arris has 5-6 heating elements and they also have the highest heat settings available in comparison to other vests. Do your research and you will find that ARRIS is the better vest to choose. I’m so happy I stumbled across this vest while on Amazon, it has made my winter very much more happier and I’m now even still using it in the evening hours during Springtime, it is the best investment I have made this year! Oh, also one last thing that really made me happy was I wore my heated vest while I was alao indoors watching TV on the couch during the wintertime evenings and I didn’t have to turn my house heater on during the Winter just to watch TV, so this heated vest also saved me on the cost of utility bills because I just wore the heated vest around the house and kept the thermostat temperature lower, so this will definitely save you money on your electricity utility heating bills if you wear it around inside the house too! It makes better sense to heat the vest rather than heat the entire house! We should all have heated vest to wear inside during winter, because it will greatly reduce your utility bills! I bought an extra battery so that I was able to wear my vest seamlessly wherever I went I always had a backup battery! Best investment that I made this year! Thank you Arris!

This heated vest will be worn by me a lot this winter. It’s comfortable, warm on it’s own, and doesnt suffer from the short battery life disease that most other heated items nowadays seem to have. The battery lasts up to 10 hours which more than covers a full work day for me.The inside lining is very soft, and works well even without the heating element. The indicator on the front works easily for switching temperatures.The vest only comes in one size, but ships with 3 different sizes that you can adjust. This are easy to install and can be done in under seconds. Just 2 zippers and one side is on or off. This will work well if my wife wants to borrow the vest for the day.The only negative I have is that the neck lining is a little small. I know this is dificult with a one size fits all type of vest, but I definitely could not zip this all the way up.Overall I am very happy with it so far.

Charged the battery to full and attempted to use the vest with no luck. Did not turn on from day one. Disappointed as I cannot get another one in time before a trip. Bought the wife two types from Ororo and both worked. I liked that this one had heated shoulders but not if it doesn’t work. May give them another chance. We’ll see.Update: Based on another review I got the vest to work. Have to have the battery in “out” mode which it does not say on the instructions anywhere. Heats up nicely so far. Minus one star because the instructions could be better and I wish it came a little smaller to start. Even without the inserts the vest is a little big without a hoodie or something else on.

I had no idea if this would actually work and was skeptical on the heat longevity. I read many, many reviews (mostly very positive) and deiced on the vest model. One size really does fit most, if not all. They have a simple swap able zipper swath that up either unzip for a narrow torso or add an additional zipper swath for a lager torso. I took it out of the box (came fully charged) read the 3 step instructions and had warmth within 30 seconds. I live in New York and Florida and tend to need days to adjust to the fluctuation in temperature when outside for 4 hours.It works great. Easy setup and didn’t need to do more than glance and the instructions. I walk a lot and am outside in 20 degree F temps for 4 hours. I was warm and couldn’t be happier. I even wear the vest inside instead of wasting heat for my loft apartment. Some of the nits online were factually incorrect. I was prepared to return if I had any issues. Instead I bought one for mt son who complains about the cold. It looks like a fleece vest and can be worn anywhere, I highly recommend it. It an awesome piece of technology to solve common everyday winter problems…

I have had one of these vests for over a year. I bought it to wear under a jacket while riding motorcycles in cool weather but I wear it almost daily now, with or without the heat feature activated. I recently bought one for my daughter and when it arrived the battery was defective. I contacted ARRIS and they sent a replacement battery right away. Communication was easy. No excuses made by the company. They just stood behind the product and apologized for the inconvenience. My daughter wears it to work daily in a mega warehouse where indoor temperatures fluctuate from doors being opened and closed. The heat function is easily turned on, adjusted, or off. The battery lasts her entire shift and commute. She doesn’t go to work without it. It is especially appreciated when leaving a warm building and getting into a cold car to drive home. Great product. Great customer service. It doesn’t get any better than that!

I loved the vest and the fit system that came with it. I ordered an extra battery. When it came I was disappointed, because the battery was smaller then what I wanted. Good thing I ordered it, because, the original battery only lasted 3 days into hunting season….

I had the previous model bought in 2017. It worked very well. This one is even nicer. I really like the 3 zones and 4 heat settings. I do operator training for Aerial equipment requiring me to be out in the cold some times 15 stories in the air for extended periods of time.

Iβve used it once on medium heat for the front 4/5 in the back for 3 hours and I still had 57% battery left at the end. Love the fact that I can control the zones individually.It comes with extra zippable sections to ajust according to your size

Would Like it Hotter
I love that the neck is heated. It is so nice to have 3 inserts for different sizes so if I gain or lose weight it will still fit. It arrived with the battery 2/3 charged so it took only 2 hours to get to a full charge. When I put it on and pressed the button to go into the hottest mode it heated up fairly quick it was still slow enough to learn to turn it on about 10 mins or so before I go outside as it took a bit. The only complaint I have is the highest setting isn’t hot, it’s more of a almost high warm, but, it is much better than nothing at all in the cold winter. One bonus is with 2 of the heating panels being in the lower front, when you put hands in your pockets – it’s warm in there. So far I am pleased with my purchase.

long-lasting warm vest
I have a back injury, I need to keep my back warm while having little pressure on my spine. I bought the heated belt from the same brand, it works very well, providing very good heating with comfort, then I noticed their vests and bought this. I’m very glad that I bought it. I use it outdoors, it’s very worm and comfortable, no more heavy coat, I’m so happy about it. I also use it indoors to keep my back warm. I found the medium heating level is sufficient in most case.The battery life is very good, it can provide about 6 to 7 hours of heating when using medium level. I bought a backup battery, however, I haven’t really needed to use it, since the battery can last 6 to 7 hours when I’m outside and I can just recharge it when I get home.The only drawback is the size, I lost a lot of weight and I wore 29 inch pants, but even when the vest is adjusted to the smallest, it is still a little big for me. It would be great if the design allows more room to adjust the size. I put an elastic band through the hole on the bottom so I can tight the bottom of the vest to keep the warm air inside.The quality of the vest is also good, no loose threads, no missed stiches.

NEW UPDATE OCT. 2020: Purchased almost one year ago with limited use. The vest no longer works. I had 2 batteries and both do not seem to power the vest. I still suspect that it is the connection between the battery and vest.UPDATE: After a few months of use, the battery no longer works. I think it is the connection on the input side of the battery. No response from seller. The vest itself was very nice but I will need to get another battery.PREVIOUS COMMENTS:The vest is powered using a barrel plug into a battery that only has a barrel plug input. There is no USB connection at all so you cannot use it to power any USB devices. Given that flaw, the vest is still very good. Battery lasts a long time. Make sure you buy a spare battery. My wife loves it so I ordered another for myself.
