Don’t waste $3
The pens either constantly skip or don’t work at all, even though there is still plenty of ink in all of them. Also when they do work, you’ll suddenly have a blob of ink just kinda smear on your paper. Also one of the pens just simply didn’t work at all from the start, and makes literally no marks no matter what. I guess it’s worth it for $3 though. They really suck for taking notes of any kind, because you will have to repeatedly scratch over all of your letters to make them legible. Literally any other ballpoint pens would be better lol

Who knew a pen could be so bad?
I didn’t think I could have such an opinion on pens, nor did I think Bic could produce something so awful. It’s certainly not their first rodeo. The little clear ball that comes on the tip of new pens does not come off on these. It breaks apart but small pieces of it remain, dragging on your paper, making your line skip, blocking ink. It’s awful. I thought it was bad luck on the first pen, that I had done something wrong. But with every color, the same story. Oooof, you get what you pay for, I guess. Do better, Bic.

Amazing pens—I’ve used them for years
These pens are great. They write well, they’re lightweight, and relatively inexpensive. While the one issue I have is unrelated to this particular pack of pens, it still gets on my nerves: I can purchase separate packs of black and blue, but I can’t buy these exact pens in RED. I only use the red ones (I’m an editor) and I don’t need the entire rainbow. This isn’t Target’s fault, obviously, and I can’t find them elsewhere. Just a personal preference.

The ones received are not like some of the pictures posted by others at all. It’s very hard to write anything, either the ink dried or there is little ink, or the ink can’t get out (I did remove the wax (?) on the tip). Super disappointed. Also, re the colors: instead of several light green which is of little use due to the very light color, they should have included more teal color (there is only one). Manufacturers should know that light colored pens are of little use.

They come with a plastic seal on top of the pen to prevent the ink from drying. People who complained that the pens were dead on arrival probably did not remove the seal.

I love the Bic medium points so I HAD TO try these. The colors are great and it is like bold print from a printer compared to the medium point. I went back and got some more! I haven’t had the leaking as others have mentioned. The globbing or smearing from a glob is no worse than the medium point pens that I’ve used. >>> REMEMBER, they come with plastic over the writing point that MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE use or they won’t work.

Dead Pens
I was very disappointed. I am a teacher and bought these for the colors. I purchased these pens in the summer 2019. When I opened them in the fall I found that several had very low ink. About half of the pens did not have ANY ink at all.

Smooth writing, bold colors!
I must admit I’ve never given too much thought to the writing implements i use, however, after using the Bic Cristal Xtra Bold Assorted Pack I was extremely impressed and also shocked at how much better these are than my other pens. This pack includes eight smooth writing pens that come in eight bold colors. These pens write extremely well. There’s no skipping or smudging. the ink absorbs wonderfully into the paper without bleeding. Leaving a fresh crisp line. The ballpoint rolls across the paper like a breeze. The bold colors are great to use for different reasons. For example when I am writing out my planner for the week, I use a specific color for each child and the activities they have for that week. It’s just an easier way to glance at a planner and know who I’m taking where and at what time. I also use these pens when writing in my journal. Each color represents a mood for my entries. My children even use them. My soon-to-be 9 year old is the artist of the family and he has been working on creating a great picture for Mom using only these pens. That’s how smoothly theses pens work. And of course the colors are just amazing.. The pens come with a silicone film over the tip of the ballpoint so as to not allow the ink to leak out during transport or storage. I think is a great idea. You do not have to take these pens out of the pack and draw circles on the paper to get the ink flowing. They work directly from the pack on the paper for me. I’ve had no issues whatsoever while using these pens and like I said I never really thought about it before but now that I’ve tried these pens these are definitely my go-to writing implements. Silky smooth!
These pens are great for running a business or taking notes! I enjoyed the fact that there was a vibrant, array of colors, all of which are easy to read on lined paper. I was able to organize work notes using these pens and taking notes is utterly effortless. The only downfall of these pens are the fact that they are not “click” style and come with a cap. They also don’t have a gripper, so depending on how hard you press or position the pen, after while it can become a bit uncomfortable. I like the different colors of these pens. I like being able to use a different colored ink for different tasks that I need to do. Good, Bold Writing Pens
I’m a big fan of BIC’s quality and these pens are no exception. The slick, slim design of the pen’s barrel makes it comfortable to write with for extended periods of time. The colors themselves are very solid and bold – the assorted colors are wonderful for note taking, especially on research subjects with many sub-topics. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes, while writing, the ink will stop flowing and make small “dots” on the paper. It’s not too big of an issue but can get a little annoying. Great basic pens with cool new colors!
I really like these pens specially for everyday use. They have a smooth writing with a thicker bold line. The ink is very smooth and they come in so many cool colors. My wife loves writing with the pastel/light colors. Please note that when you first use them, you have to peel off a little plastic over the tip. These don’t bleed and they are so smooth.
