Bought 2 to be used under a couple of rugs that were in wood floors. Worked as expected and prevented the rugs from sliding when walked on. Product is thin enough that you do not feel or see a difference between the areas with the pad and the areas without.

Dog-proof but smelly
I put this under my 5×7 rug and it does the job. Minimal movement when our 80lbs dogs run across it, so it fit my need. Only thing really that I didn’t like was the smell, pretty awful strong odor that took about a day to fade. Get it on sale if you can, then 100% a good buy.

Perfect for providing grip on slippery floors for older dogs
I actually needed something to help my older dog have grip while posing for a photoshoot. This was perfect! It allowed my dog to have the grip to feel comfortable while posing on otherwise slippery surfaces.

This worked well for the first day or two, and it fit nicely under our 2×3 entryway rug. However, now it isn’t doing much to keep the rug in place. It slides around and peeks out from under the rug, or gets bunches up so the rug on top feels lumpy. Maybe it would work better on a larger area rug, or somewhere with less traffic. We’re going to switch to the rug tape instead.
