I LOVE when Target has their Back to School sale on Crayola 12ct Kids Pre-Sharpened Colored Pencils each year in July because we have seven years old boy / girl twin grandchildren that go to year round school in NC; so, they need and use them all year! Plus, we also keep these in our home for when they visit because they LOVE coloring books as well as making cards personal cards for birthdays and Holidays for family and friends!! I’m a teacher and I prefer that my 3rd and 4th graders use colored pencils for their academic art. Colored pencils are neater than markers and more detailed than crayons. You just have to convince students not to sharpen them unless necessary. This way, they last longer.

Thoroughly disappointed. I bought Crayola brand because I figured they must be quality pencils. Man, I could not be more wrong. I have gone through more of the pencil by it breaking in the sharpener than by actually coloring/writing with them. If I get anywhere near a fine tip it gets stuck and snaps off 1/4inch inside the barrel. I seriously can’t even use my blue pencil because I can’t get it sharpened without it breaking. Unbelievable.
