This is a great paint set but maybe best purchased in store… I ordered twice and both lids were cracked upon arrival. Target was great about returning them.

I love these watercolors. I was hesitant to buy them at first because I can’t get rid of stuff I don’t like, but these are lovely. I have a more expensive set (about $1 a pan) amd i prefer these for washes becasue the pigments are very smooth. The only thing is that the 2 light blues are basically identical and obsurdly pigmented but also the light ornge on the bottom turns out yellow.

Okay choice for budget conscious
I ordered 20 units (max Target online allows) for my elementary school. They were packed loosely and a couple got knocked around during shipment. One of them had half the individual paint pans fall out of the palettes. Be careful how you transport these so you don’t have loose paint chips everywhere. I’ve read and seen reviews saying these are decent watercolors. They are fine for simple projects but it is difficult to build up more intense color. I tried allowing time for the water to activate the paints but for many colors it make the art blotchy. As long as you have realistic expectations these work fine. For the budget-friendly price, you get a great variety of colors for kids to experiment with. Once you compare them to slightly more expensive watercolor sets, you won’t like these. I would suggest buying a better paint brush that you can reuse as you go through various paint sets.
