This is overall a nice product – 48 chalks that work well, BUT they are more like pastels, not bright, primary colors! The pictures on the box do not truly match the colors inside. I mean this is a company that is all about COLOR! Just be more accurate in the descriptions on the outside of the box! I was very surprised when I opened up the box! The colors are nice but beware – there is no true red, green, blue or purple! I have photos.

This box has beautiful colors! My class really liked using them. They had different shades of all colors. I highly recommended. I would also dip them in water and have them color on paper or ground! My daughter who is two and is on the smaller size could easily pick it up and color.

The furthest thing from washable. It’s children’s chalk, so you’d think it would easily wash out of clothing. NOPE. We have stained COUNTLESS articles of clothing and even stain remover doesn’t get it out. What in the actual bleep, Crayola!!!??

Broke Immediately
Most of the chalk broke immediately when trying to get them out of the box. The tips were cracking off. Out of the ones that kept solid, some broke immediately once applied to draw. Definitely have to keep an eye on my children while using these. I would not purchase again and I expected more from a brand name. The color of each is vibrant so that is the reason I gave this product two stars rather than one.

Half the pieces were broken; chalk is vibrant
In terms of the quality of this chalk, it’s very vibrant, and I like that the pieces are named just like the crayons. My sons really enjoy the variety of choices. I’m usually willing to pay a little more for this brand than the dollar store ones b/c of that. But upon receiving this item in the mail, half of the pieces were broken. This is not the quality I’m used to in Crayola products.

I love these!! I want to say though be aware because they do stain clothes. Now people say that the stains don’t come out. They don’t if you through them in like you normally would in the wash. I like to use some stain fighters and some OxiClean and it works well. Yes it staining is annoying but keep in mind that just means they have high pigment which usually means high quality. Also SO affordable?! Like if you where thinking about getting the store brand get these instead so much better.

Not good chalk. It withers away quickly and you’ll be lucky to get more than 2-3 uses out each piece. Also not to mention the colors are completely disorganized and its hard to tell whats what. I’m not even sure our pack came with a proper orange. We had neon orange, red orange, pink orange but not a regular orange. Look for better chalk.

Wish they could come up with a better design for the box so we could reuse it and not have to jam all the chalks in, they never all seem fit back in. Beautiful, highly pigmented sidewalk chalk. The price is unbelievable for so many different colors. Warning, if you have a toddler girl, her favorite color will probably be red-violet. My daughter is obsessed! But, just know that color is not washable and leaves stains on the pavement. I would use that color sparingly. It is pretty, though.

The chalk works well, a lot of nice bright colors. My kids have been enjoying it. I would recommend buying this in person or for store pickup, though. I foolishly ordered this for delivery, and pretty much all the chalk is broken, which I’m assuming happened during shipment. It still works, my kids don’t seem to care, but the small pieces are harder for an adult to hold.

Wind Blew the Pigment Away
All the colors weren’t as vibrant as I would’ve liked. But the biggest issue is the wind blew all the pigment away. I’ve never experienced that with chalk before. Minnie Mouse was the only before and after. But you can see how the colors appeared vibrant in some photos and that’s how they started in the photos that are faded.

This chalk permanently stained my concrete! I tried all the tricks recommended on their website (have literally gotten on my hands and knees and scrubbed it), but nothing is helping it come off. Though the colors are pretty, I don’t think that’s worth permanent marking on your concrete for!

My daughter loves coloring with chalk on the driveway and it’s also one of my favorite activities to do with her. I was impressed with how vibrant and how many different colors this came with and it has the crayola quality that you would expect. This chalk is ok. More of it sticks to cement than some other brands. However, the colors are not as bold as the picture on the box suggests. If you’re buying this over an off brand thinking it’s a box with some bold colors, don’t bother. This box has a black piece & the rest are pastel.
