Got these last night for our big Fourth of July party. My daughters wanted to try them right away so I gave it a whirl I gave them each little face tattoo. The colors barely showed up in the skin, except for the darker ones like red and black. Way overpriced.

This was terrible. My daughter was trying to color and the crayons would literally break when she’s barely even put pressure. I was watching her the whole time and I even tried it for myself and it just broke on me. We ended up returning out because it was essentially useless. The red crayon in the face and body crayons is so difficult to get off. It does not simply wash off with soap and water. Even my body scrub couldn’t get it all off. My daughter is still stained red. We love Crayola products but this is horrible. I’ll never buy these again.

Paint that stays
Purchased these crayons for my two sons, as they have been asking for a face paint set. The crayons were easy for them each to use themselves (4 & 6yr) HOWEVER after a full face & body if paint (they turned into a mouse & tiger) They jumped in the bath to cleanup.. and hour of soaking & scrubbing to remove the color!! And still little was left behind for days! So i highly recommend you if you’d like your color to last, if however you’d like your facepaint to wash off in one cleaning- this is a product I’d avoid. Perhaps others have found a cleaning product that removes this paint better- I haven’t looked in to that.

I used these for a spirit day and had my friends draw all over me with them. They felt sticky or like they would rub off, but they stuck relatively well and were a lot of fun. They likely shouldn’t be used on the face because of how hard they were to wash away (the stronger colors stayed on my body for a few weeks), but for older children they can be a lot of fun.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I’m a professional face painter. I was so excited to find these face & body crayons at Target that I bought 4 packs. I thought I’d be able to use them for line & detail work but the colors are so faint as demonstrated by the swatches on my arm (see enclosed photo). The texture is sort of waxy and the crayons don’t stay inside the tube – they slip out very easily. The one good thing about them is that they wipe off easily with a tissue. I’ll keep the pack that I used for testing – but I’m returning the other 3 packs. Crayola should stop advertising the colors as “vibrant” since the colors are dull.

Honestly these are horrible!! they are thick and oily and pastey so they are really hard to work with and then when you are done they are impossible to remove besides! Even using baby oily won’t get it off. I have never had so much trouble removing something and we have done a lot of face painting before! I have 5 kids and so very little time but if I can save other parents the heartache – I hope this helps!!!

My children could use these all by themselves, they aren’t as saturated as regular face paints but they are high quality and for the price it’s worth it. Fun But Omg The Mess Was Awful
Omg these were such a mistake. My MIL bought these as an Easter gift for my kids. Of course the kids loved them and I initially did too. Until I spent 30 min soaking and scrubbing my 2 and 4 yr old and they still had color EVERYWHERE. Canola oil was the only think that got the majority of the color off their skin. And I to the trash these went. Such a disaster.

These broke almost immediately. The colors stain everything your child touches when it is on their skin. The carpet, and couches had marks everywhere that don’t come off. It is also is very hard to take off their skin. I can’t believe what a fail these are. After 5 mins, they were all broken, and the house, tub, furniture were a mess. Sad story! DO NOT BUY!

Color nib falls out
I didn’t have much issue removing the colors from the body as other reviews mentioned, but it was only applied on small, relatively sweaty, toddler hands which get washed often. The issue I had was that the color nib itself would fall out of the pen while I was applying and had to consistently pay attention so it wouldn’t fall on the ground. Additionally by seeing the whole length of color, it almost doesn’t seem worth the price, with each nib only being about 1.5 inches long. The colors are fine, not extremely vibrant but fine for face painting and getting the kids excited and happy.

Really stained my kid’s skin. Took 2 days to get off because I didn’t want to scrub her skin too hard. These are better for big bulky areas that you want to cover, but you should probably use paint and a brush to make anything detailed or else it’ll look terrible. Overall, they’re so-so.
