I recently purchased the kids dinosaur backpack for my nephew because he is going through that phase at the moment and the kid is obsessed with this thing now. He takes the backpack everywhere he goes with all of his toy dinosaurs in there and it is so cute! The backpack is large enough for all his toys but still comfortable that he can take it around all day with him without getting tired. Every time I pick him up to hang out he brings a new toy to show me but always has the same backpack despite him having a few other choices at home. The dinosaur plush charm was an added bonus, my nephew named the little guy and everything. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this thing given the lower price point. My nephew is not the most gentle child in the whole world and this thing seems like its going to keep up with him for a while. This is truly a great gift!

I got this backpack for my grandson who will be starting preschool next fall. This boy has been a dinosaur fan since he was 3 months old! This Crckt Kids’ 16.5″ Backpack is beyond adorable! My three-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. She said she can’t wait to bring it to preschool and show it off to all of her friends. I’m very impressed with the quality of this backpack. It’s a large size (16.5”) which fits plenty of items without seeming to be too bulky or huge. My daughter can easily use this backpack for packing clothes for a sleepover at her grandparents’ house. The pattern is just too cute. It’s the perfect design for little kids who love unicorns. Some other features I love about this backpack are the bungee cables that can hold another item, like a jacket or sweatshirt for instance. Needed a backpack for my niece to use for sleepover party. She loves unicorns, so this was the perfect one. It is plenty large enough to hold all of her clothes and the special stuffie and blanket she was taking with her, and a small gift. The backpack is well made with a thick material and the straps are wide, padded and adjustable. There is a zipper pocket on the front and crisscross bungies which was perfect for rolling a jacket and sliding in. Also a pouch for holding a water bottle on the side. It was lightweight so she could get it on and off by herself, just a little big for her back. She was most happy with the little detachable unicorn cat plush. Looking for a backpack is like looking for that great purse or bag that will fit all of your important belongings, except for your child. In trying out this CRCKT backpack, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s super cute to begin with, that sweet little dangling unicorn is what draws your attention to begin with, but the whimsical design in the not so typical pink, but navy blue/pastel teal color combo really works well. The zippered front pouch is average in size and the main compartment is very spacious for this being a child’s backpack. We were able to fit a standard sized laptop, some notebooks, a pencil pouch, and a few smaller books. For the price point, this seems to get the job done. Only time will tell if it’s durable enough to last the entire school year. Overall, I highly recommend this backpack.

By having the cushion/patting, I would assume this would make the backpack more comfortable while wearing. There is cushion/patting in the back of the backpack as well. The Crckt Unicorn Backpack has two compartments and they both seem to have a good amount of room in them. I also like that the backpack has a mesh side pocket that could be good to put a drink cup in. It has a stuffed unicorn head connected/hanging on the front of the backpack that I could see a child liking. Even though I have not used this backpack, it seems to have been made well. I think that a child could like to have this backpack, especially one who loves unicorns. I’m Back on the Cool Dad List After Buying This
In one word I’d have to describe this backpack as Dino-mite! (Sorry, bad dad joke). Luckily this kids backpack isn’t bad at all. It’s super light weight, has padded straps, easy to clean and has a couple of zippered pouches on the front , plus a mesh pouch on the side. I’m glad it came with an ID tag inside since school mates seem to want to take the Dino bag home to show their parents.

A Very Cute Backpack
This unicorn backpack is so very cute! It’s a pretty blue, with pink and white unicorns all over. The inside is a girly light teal blue. There is 1 front zip pocket and one side mesh pocket for a drink bottle. The straps on the back are padded and adjustable. It’s a very fun bag! I will say however that while the main compartment zipper runs fast and smooth, the outside front pocket zipper seems to bind up pretty heavily at the curved top of the pocket. It’s very possible though that use will improve this situation. There’s also a weird stitch line at the very top of the main compartment opening that just looks to me as if the sewing machine strayed offline and then just stopped. I may go back to the store to see if the other bags like this one also show this stitch. So, bottom line is that this is an adorable kid’s backpack. I truly don’t think any little girl would think less of it because of the sticky zipper or the misplaced stitch line! The little unicorn head plush charm will smooth all that over and add the “Aahh” factor! (INCENTIVIZED REVIEW.)

Perfect for toddlers and young children, especially ones who love dinos. It’s a great size and has a few compartment’s. The straps are thick and really supportive. There is a mesh area on the side to hold a drink and even comes with a cute little Dino stuffed animal. There is a tag on the inside where you can write the child’s name, as well. My daughter loves this backpack! So excited when she got it! It is a great large backpack with a normal big compartment and a smaller one. Also has a water bottle holder on the side and a front clasp as well so it doesnt fall off their shoulders. Only small issue is the smaller compartment zipper seems to be fraying a little when i received it but it was a easy fix with some hot glue to “sear” the edges.

I started looking for a backpack that I can keep in the car for my granddaughters. I am so tired of hauling things in and out of the car when we go on trips. I found this cute Unicorn one and the girls love it. I filled with crayons, color books, small electronic games, and then they add a few things of their own. Target Customer Service said they would only exchange if they still had tags and were not damaged. The material is a thick durable fabric that is easy to clean. The shoulder straps are super padded and adjustable. The extra pockets come in handy for keeping snacks and books separate. Having the side pouch for a water bottle is key – although I would prefer to have a zipper for that also. This is a great backpack and my niece just loves it!

The zippers slide well too, and don’t get stuck. It’s also very lightweight which is great so it doesn’t weigh my son down with everything he has to put inside. The inside lining is easily wipeable if anything gets spilled which is an added plus! I love the little dinosaur keychain as well. Sooo cute!!

To be honest I’m very disappointed in this bag. We got them for our boys for a weekend trip and in the 3 days they used them it is coming apart. They loved the Dino keychain on it which is why I bought it. But at this point I’d rather buy a different bag that’s better quality and just buy a different dinosaur key chain. It doesn’t have a lot of pockets in it, the backpack straps don’t stay secured very well.

Bad quality-starts deteriorating after a couple of months
Son really liked dinosaur design and colors for this backpack. Worked great for a month or two, but the stitching on the inside is coming apart and the interior is rapidly deteriorating. Will need to buy something new before the end of the school year as it’s close to breaking room being worn so thin. My son is in pre-k, he used this every weekday, but is not rough with it; should have lasted A LOT longer.

The new design is good!
So I will say, I have the old and new version of this book bag. They revamped it and now it doesn’t fall apart like the old one did. You can see in the picture how the left one was coming apart and now it’s lined with all red and is a lot thicker and sturdier. Great for toddlers and daycare! Love it!

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to a diaper bag for my son. It is great. Still has plenty of pockets to store stuff but it’s not too big. It’s been pretty durable for me the past few months of having it. I would definitely recommend it.

Short lasting
You buy a backpack thinking it’ll last the school year. It’s a kids backpack, which means kids will use it. I was very hesitant at first, but .y kid was going to kinder = first year at school! It began to break down in January 2023. I bought it right before school started, August 2022. See pictures, this definitely did not last the 9 months I thought it would.

My kid is only in kindergarten so he carries one folder and his lunchbox daily plus his tablet and one library book one day each week – that is it. I purchased this backpack for my 6 year old granddaughter who is in her unicorn phase right now. She absolutely loves it. It’s well made and is large enough to hold her school books, pencil case and has a side pocket for a water bottle. The features I especially like are the padded straps and an ID on the inside. The plush unicorn dangle is removable. However, you can attach a small bottle of sanitizer with or without removing the plush unicorn. It’s also extremely lightweight. It’s a great backpack.

Awesome backpack!
I have been wanting to upgrade my daughter’s backpack for gymnastics and travel and found this CRCKT unicorn kids backpack so we gave it a shot! The first thing I noticed about it was the high quality material it is made from. It is so durable and the zippers are also so strong. The size of the inside of the backpack is surprisingly large. We are able to fit an iPad, coloring books, some small toys AND a change of clothes! My daughter is 4 and it fits her comfortably. There is a buckle across the chest connecting the two straps so that it fits snug for younger kids! There is elastic straps on the front of the backpack which my daughter loves to put a stuffed animal or baby doll to carry around with her! The cute unicorn design is my daughter’s favorite part! It even comes with a plush unicorn keychain which is so adorable! The quality and durability is definitely way better than expected. I will be ordering another one for my other daughter! We love this brand!

bought this for my 5 year old, very, very light use. her water bottle was the heaviest thing she carried. the zipper pulls kept coming off, so I fixed that with some hand sewing. then the bottle holder ripped. I was determined to not have to buy another backpack, so I took it apart and replaced the mesh with some stronger fabric I had lying around. then the straps started coming loose…. she ended up using a cheap (but apparently not as cheaply made) backpack I used previously as a diaper bag for the majority of the year. This year I’m buying cat & jack, solely because of their warranty and willingness to replace/refund broken products.
