I am not sure why others gave these blades 1 star, i buy them in bulk and i cut all types of material EVERYDAY and some days 20-30 mats a day or more. 10 Pack lasts me a year.

Disappointed
After making some cuts with the regular fine-point-blade, which worked fine, I decided I’d try out the premium blade. The premium blade didn’t even make it through the material with the same settings. When I swapped back in the regular fine point blade, it cut again no problem. I expected it to cut at least as well as the regular blade.

Not compatible
I swapped this premium fine point blade into my machine, that was using a regular fine point blade. After swapping these easily, the blade no longer cuts and the machine will not recognize this blade. Calibration does not recognize the blade either and the machine is updated, cookies and cache cleared.

Cuts WAY TOO DEEP
I purchased a 2 pack of replacement blades for the first time since I bought my machine. My initial blade was still cutting but finally dulling after almost 3 years. The new blades seem to be slightly longer and cut all the way though whatever carrier sheet/ backing is on my HTV and adhesives, and are also causing a lot of damage to the brand new mats I purchased with the blades a month ago. I have to cut on paper- even for flock and glitter heat transfer to keep from causing more damage to my mats, but haven’t found a suitable solution for adhesive and easy weed. The carrier sheet is basically pointless as it no longer is a solid sheet once the vinyl is cut. Its very disheartening and causes projects to take a lot of extra time and work. I wish they would go back to how they were before. Or at least have a quality system that makes sure their new style of blades are actually the right length.
