We love this vacuum. We live on a boat full time and the cordless battery powered setup is perfect. The battery lasts long enough to do the whole 800 sq/f but will die next round if we don’t charge it in between, which isn’t a problem for us…the charging is relatively quick.It comes with great attachments, but a few of them feel a little unnecessary. Personally we could have used just a few of them.

We are very impressed with this machine. Dyson has made life easy for the home cleaner. Easy and quick to assemble and use. We bought an extra battery + the tile vacuum head + the after market reeyear power button on/off control clamp + extra air filters and accessories mount rack. This combination is a must for an allrounder effect of the Dyson machine.

Refurbished but in excellent condition.The suction on the V11 makes everything feel so clean and new. It really sucks out the dust from the under carpet. One complaint is that it doesn’t come with instructions on care and the warranty so you would have to go on the Dyson site and figure that out. Also, I love all of the attachments but just wish it brought a bag for them. Overall great product and worth it!

This vacuum only runs for about 10 seconds and then cuts out. It is brand new, so filter isn’t dirty yet and its not the battery which is fully charged. Super frustrating. Will need to return it.UPDATE: I could not reach the seller so I reached out to Dyson directly. Based on the serial number, it turns out the seller on Amazon misrepresented the product as “new” when in fact it was refurbished. Dyson has said that it will ship me a new vacuum main body free of charge. I haven’t received it yet but I hope it fixes the problem. The problem is that because this was not a new product the warranty is now only good for six months. Really disappointed.

I already have a Dyson Upright Vacuum that is awesome! But unfortunately it’s getting harder for me to push around due to limited upper body strength. So I have been researching the cordless version that is supposed to be lighter and easier to maneuver. I saw this one and decided to take a chance. It arrived just as it was promised and brand new. It looks terrific and even more importantly it works perfectly! So much easier to maneuver around furniture and still that same fantastic suction that I get with my upright Dyson. So glad that I purchased this!!!

It has lots of power. It has great suction. Its easy to maneuver. So far the battery lasts a long time. It automatically changes suction levels when going from hardwood to carpet. No filter bags to mess with. Easy to dump debris. Its super light. All in all its a great vacuum.

All Pet Owners….I love this Dyson (V11). We’ve never owned one (thought they were overpriced) but since we no longer have wall to wall carpet (just throw rugs) and a year round shedding German Shepherd and cat, I decided to buy it using my Chase Amazon Prime credit card with monthly payments and zero interest. It is well worth it. Easy to use, lightweight, no cord hassles and easy to take apart and clean. I would have given it 5 stars overall but I am not impressed with User instructions. It is fair to say I haven’t spent much time looking for them, but they didn’t come with the product and what little time I spent, I only managed to find a video. I’d like instructions on how to assemble the accessories it came with (10 pieces). It’s opened my eyes to this fact, an easy to use tool takes away the reticence of dragging out the heavy vacumn cleaner, changing the bag (ugh) and dancing around the cord while using. I am 67 and active, but with arthritic hands and wrists, it is sometimes painful doing simple chores. Being lightweight and easy assembly is a big plus for me. PS I was not paid for this review and do not normally write them.

I always thought the Dyson vacuum was an overpriced, overhyped, overly praised product. I was wrong. Dead wrong. In spite of my protests against Dyson, my girlfriend recently purchased this vacuum for our house because I do most of the house cleaning (she’s a fantastic cook, so no complaints on my end), and our Shark Apex (top of the line) was a beast, heavy, cumbersome, and took me a long time to vacuum our relatively small house (45 minutes). Enter the Dyson V11 Animal Cordless. It not only saves me back, it takes me less than half the time to clean our whole house (20 minutes) and it does a better job than the Shark ever did, and we have two long hair collie dogs! I loved it so much, I am getting rid of the Shark vacuum at my house and at my cabin, and now have two of these as our only vacuums in either place. Well worth the additional cost. Go Dyson (and my girlfriend)!

I’m not convinced that the brush or vacuum power is as great as our upright machine but it is so quick and easy to use we pull it out 4X as much as the old upright. The only thing that seems to be flimsy is the charging cradle. It flexes a LOT when removing the vac or replacing it.

We have a one hundred pound year old English Cream Golden Retriever that sheds profusely in our Mississippi Gulf Coast heat and humidity. After several months of struggling with my Dyson V10, I read the Amazon review on the Dyson V11 Animal Red Wand Stick Vacuum. It is truly amazing. It has auto multiple speeds for different surfaces, and an oversized debris chamber which we fill up after every two vacuum. Unless you consider vacuuming pet hair an aerobic exercise, invest in a Dyson V11.
