These glue sticks are not too big, so are easily gripped, the glue slides in smoothly and is not too messy. The glue is definitely best for paper as is it no thick enough to hold down heavier objects.

Great glue for toddlers

But the best perk is my three-year-old and his preschool projects… The purple indicator shows him how much glue he has applied and it allows him to physically understand the principles of using glue. Smells toxic
Smells incredibly toxic. The package claims it’s nontoxic, but the smell was overwhelming to me and we threw them out. It’s weird because we have old glue sticks (regular size) from years ago and they seem fine and don’t smell. I’m not sure if it’s the jumbo size or a new formula, but I’ll never buy these again.
