The unit is very lite. The motorized head works much better than the type that spins only with suction. It does equally well on hard surfaces and low-profile rugs (I don’t have any high pro-file rugs). It does have 3 different speeds (and power levels) the middle works good on all my surfaces, when you kick it into HIGH SPEED (high power) the unit works even better. However, you only get about 20 minutes on high depending on what surfaces you vacuuming, on medium you can get about 25+ minutes, depending.I got mine on sale during AMOZON DAYS, so it was worth the money. Let’s see how long the unit lasts!! I will update later in any issues are discovered.

(Update 11/30) Midea (Eureka) took care of my unit. Many thanks to them. I’m happy now. (Original review): My Elevate cordless vacuum emts a foul smell / stench ever since I first received it. I really needed it when I received it from Amazon, so I didn’t send it back for a Return. I’m emailing back and forth with Eureka consumer services to try to get it serviced or replaced, and thus far they had me clean it out to see if that fixes the smell. But cleaning it did not change anything – I cleaned out every removable piece, including washing and drying the filters, and the nasty smell it makes is still not resolved. And that smell is not subtle – it is an extremely strong fume that smells like rubber is burning inside. I think the issue is from a rubber washer the use inside that just smells all by itself when the unit was disassembled. I hope they will take care of my unit, but we will see. I’ll update this review later depending on the outcome. Otherwise, the vacuum works very well and is invaluable around the house.

Review for the NEC380 model. Bought this to do quick clean ups when we don’t want to drag the central vac hose around. The suction level is ok on medium speed and pretty good in turbo mode. But setting to to turbo drains the battery pretty quick. It also takes quite a while to charge. Does a good job of picking up pet hair in turbo mode. It is reasonably lightweight and easy to maneuver. The dust bin is a little bit fiddly. It does not empty very well, especially when picking up pet hair. We usually have to reach in and dig out the hair. It is also a little bit challenging to get it lined up and installed back on the vacuum. The wall bracket is ok, I am not a fan of having to plu in the charger manually. Seems like it should be set up to charge when you hang it on the bracket. Overall I am happy with the value for the money.

I am writing to tell you that I am extremely disappointed in your Eureka customer service. I purchased my vacuum in 2022 and it just fell apart while I was vacuuming with it. I put in a claim with Eureka customer service providing all of the necessary documentation. I received a phone call this morning stating I would receive a refund for the purchase price. Then, I received another phone call this afternoon stating that I would not be receiving a refund. They are saying that since I bought it as a Used-Like New ( an Amazon return) that I am not eligible for the refund. I could have accepted that if I hadn’t already been promised a refund. The customer service representative and her supervisor stated they could do nothing for me, not even provide me with a part replacement. You can see that this does not give me confidence in the brand and I will not be purchasing a Eureka in the future. Also, the motor doesn’t suck very well on my carpet or tile unless I use the high setting and then I can only do half of the house at a time because the battery wears out fast. I had already replaced the charging cord which got a short in it after one year.

We had bought two of these for home plus cottage. They work very well on both bare floor and carpet. Multiple power selections work for both easy and moderately difficult cleaning, and allow stretching the charge. We have 3000 ft2 of 80% tile and 20% carpet and one charge does the whole house, but with not much to spare. The dirt reservoir must be emptied every 30-60 minutes of use – this is kind of up close and personal, I often have to stick a finger in to get a giant dust bunny out. The main performance limitation is “gravel”, where it does not reliably pick up grit larger than about 1/8″. The powered brush nozzle for use on carpet very effectively winds up hair and needs to be cleaned by hand and scissors regularly. My second unit stopped working after about 1 year ( but only maybe 20 hours of use). The help number brought immediate assistance from a human being. After a checkout process, I was asked to provide a video of certain operations to prove that it was defective. The case was then “recommended” for refund, a decision was made to refund in 3 days, and a check arrived soon thereafter. I was quite happy with the resolution and promptly bought another one.

This is a vacuum that would be good for people on a budget (only with a coupon). Otherwise, full price I personally say there are better options out there. For what it does and its capabilities it is very limited.First off, this vacuum was not as heavy as I thought it would be. It is compact and can be stored in semi-tight spots. Definitely a plus to maneuver around when vacuuming and with limited storage. The suction power on this machine is just okay. Compared to Dyson vacuums this is probably like 60% of the power. It doesn’t pick up all the items and I find you have to go a bit slower for it to “thoroughly” get a better cleaning. It does pick up small things fairly well, but I would have to go over it a few more times just to make sure all the small residuals are gone. The battery life on this thing is not amazing at all. It lasts maybe 15-25 minutes with usage on highest power setting. There are three different modes, but I wish the highest setting had a stronger power and battery life. This I say works best on tiles and hardwood floorings, rather than carper which is where you have to go over many times with the vacuum.I’m not positive on the warranty on this but will keep updated if anything changes.

I thought this would be big and heavy when the delivery guy was dropping it off. Its was like handing me a box of milk, so light. After opening the box, everything was a breeze. I didn’t charge it right away. I did a test and this vac pass. Easy to use on stairs and pick up hair I couldn’t see.My wrist didn’t hurt. Like the handle design. I don’t have to push, the suction does the work. I just have to guide it. The battery is built in so that should tell you that this is a keeper. If you buy a vac with removable battery or changing or switching, then it wasn’t built to last. That’s alot of time wasted for just switching. This goes flat to the floor and is easy to install on the wall. Make sure to listen for the “click” especially on the dust canister/cup. Inside the cup, there is a rubber flap that keeps debris from clogging the suction power. My first jashen cordless vac was a disappointment. The tub broke off from the main body. The digital reader stop showing the battery status. And with all those accessories, my hands would hurt with all those switches. It took some time but I found Eureka. I spent far less and got a great cordless vaccum.

So disappointed because I love this little vac! It’s light and has 3 level of suction. The head fits under a lot of furniture, I can use it on my luxury vinyl flooring, it comes with some attachments for handheld mode, the charge lasted a long time… sigh… Now it’s useless. You can make it run for a few seconds at a time. I was really hoping to get to talk to customer support but it says I can’t, so now it’s… trash? Ouch, I want my little buddy back! :'(

Pros: Affordable, Decent Quality even for only being 6.4 lbs, suction is fairly good for the style and it’s easy to use assemble and clean. Battery usage seems to be great, I’ve not run into any issues with the battery. I’ve used it on hard wood floors mostly and some rugs and carpet with no trouble. The operating brush is really nice.Cons: For me, I’d rather not mount it to the wall in order to store it. This cleaner comes with no other options for storage when not in use. It does not stand upright on its own without support. So you will have to utilize the included mounting bracket for storage. This was an inconvenience for me as I live in an apartment and try not to put too many holes in my walls. Additionally, the attachments come loose and with no bag or way to store the accessories with the cleaner. If I am going to mount it on my wall it would have been nice to have a bag to hang the accessories all together or mount them with the unit or clip on somewhere. So separate storage just means I’m going to loose them.I do wish it came with a flexible hose so you could hold the unit in one hand while using an extended reach accessory to get into ceiling corners thereby eliminating the need to stretch and reach with one hand way out and bearing the weight of it fully extended over head because even the light weight if it gets tiring after a while if high to reach cob webs. Luckily I have a small place. As a side note if someone made one of these that would accept any standard 18V drill battery I’d be sold.
