Dried out markers
Bought these yesterday—the black marker is dried out. I’m thinking ultra fine tipped markers can’t handle the ink :/ Such a shame. I’ll see if I can return for store credit.

Not good
I’ve had these a few months. Keep them stored tip down with the lid tightly closed in a cup. I use them about once a month to update my calendar, and they’re all dried out.
rosexvm –
Good dry erase markers
Green marker doesn’t show that well.
Hppy Birthdy –
Markers were Dried
Half of the markers were dried, and the other half were very light

Great markers
I love these! they definitely work better for my fridge calendar. I love the sleekness and fine point.
Hope –
The markers were all dry
None of the markers worked
Mary –
Great for notes
Easy to use on a white board and lots of color choices to make the board pretty and fun!
JadeLW –
Dried up
Dried up way too quickly. I’ve these on two separate occasions. The first ones dried up but I thought I got an old pack. Purchased again and they dried up even quicker. Very disappointing.

Ultra fine Expo markers
The red marker would dry up on the white board… all the other markers worked fine
limomboss –
Vibrant
I know they are just dry erase markers but these are the best. I’ve tried other brands, and other varieties. Our family calendar on the fridge is our Bible. These markers are vibrant and fine enough to write on our calendar in detail. Love.

Lovely colors while they last
Vibrant colors when you first use them and the fine points are great for writing smaller print. I feel like they dry out somewhat quickly, but I haven’t found anything better out there so far.

Don’t even try them
I was able to use these for one month, after that all but two are dried out.
Jenkelley –
So much better than regular!
These super fine markers are AWESOME. They write just like a pen. Only thing that was unfortunate was that the black marker appeared to be totally out of ink, but that was most likely just a fluke.. not the norm.

Dried up markers
I normally like expo markers and ultra fine would be great for many things like calendars, but 2 of the markers were completely dried up out of the package. 3 others are also barely working. Very disappointing.

Dried out before using it
These markers came brand new but dried out. I don’t understand. Won’t buy these again.
BK –
Too thin
Too thin barely shows up on board
MrFoster –
Great for my calender
Great to write things down on my dry-erase calender.
robb13griff –
Nope.
Didn’t work after the first use

Black markers dry out!
I’ve bought this pack twice. Both times the black marker dried out immediately, which is why I bought a second pack in the first place. Bizarre! I know have two black markers headed to the trash. The rest work fine, although the orange is nearly impossible to clean off, so I don’t use it on our white, color-coded family calendar.
Nlovermyer –
Half the pack was no good
Half of them were dried up and couldn’t use. Bought these in store too. This is actually not the first time I have had this issue.
melon –
Lame
They dry up instantly. Waste of money don’t bother
PKc –
Great for the price if more than half is usable
Although on sale for almost 50%, 3 out of the 8 came out dried at the tip, (black, green, orange). Iknow there’s still plenty of ink left so I’ll give it about a week for it to revive itself by flipping it upside down

Don not buy
5 out of the 8 have dried out after one time use on a calendar 1 month later . Very dissatisfied.
Mcj –
Several dried out
I have tried 2 packs now and each time several markers were almost dried up coming straight out of the package. I will shop around for something different.

Doesn’t last long
I used this once in June for a dry erase calendar. When I tried to make September, they’re all dried up. Would not recommend.

Love
Fine tip just how I wanted. Easy to write with
TXRam –
Perfect for busy calendar families
I love the color selection and the precision of the dry erase pens
reb –
extra fine expo markers
great quality and with being extra fine tipped, i have more space to write on my calendar!
Sarah M –
Would not buy again
Only color that shows up on my glass dry erase board is black. Try these as soon as you buy them so that you aren’t 3 months in and left with product that you can’t return or exchange.

Dried out
Black marker came out of the package completely dried out!
Alienore –
Worst Markers!
Half of them were dried out! Terrible markers! They are too expensive to have this happen!
mh13 –
Waste Of Money
Upon Receiving Half Of The Markers Do Not Write Because They Are Completely Dried Out!
Crystal –
Expo is the way to go
I love the quality of the product my kids can see them well on the whiteboard during class.
spagooter61 –
Disappointing
These have inconsistent ink flow. They worked great the first time I used them but now (about a month later) they won’t write and when I shake them to try to get the ink flowing, it leaks out in large quantities. For reference, I store them cap-down, so they shouldn’t be drying out so fast!
jfsinclair –
Dont waste your money
These pens are horrible quality. Dried out with barely any use. Don’t waste your money.
DW –
great markers
Great markers- they write like a fine tip pen- which is great in terms of being able to write a lot, but more difficult to read from afar, hence the 4 star rating. I think I will purchase the fine tip to see if they are better for me.
Hlyholt –
The fine tip is great, but dried out colors upon arrival
half the colors were dried out.
Missisita –
Tips are to fine.
The points are so fine that half the pens didn’t even work. So disappointed.
lnp –
Crap
More than half of the markers were dried out
Emily –
Dry right out of the package
The green, blue, and black markers were completely dry right of the box. Brown was 95% dry right out of the package. Total crap.
Tina –
Great for a calendar!
I bought these so I could fit more into the small squares of my dry erase calendar and love them! They are a perfect fineness without sacrificing opacity of color.
Nu –
Not all of them work!
The orange marker didn’t work at all. The purple marker wasn’t sharp or fine like the others so it marked very largely and messily. I was really disappointed.
K –
ultra fine tip
I love these ultra-fine tips for use on our family calendar whiteboard – keeps things looking crisp, less sloppy then the regular tip.
Mary Von Vetsara –
High expectations; sadly disappointing
I really liked the fine tip point on these. It make my excessively detailed to-do list fit neatly onto my whiteboard. And because I could write legibly in small print, I have been able to use a whiteboard calendar with my toddler for helping learn about things like “tomorrow” and to show her Mama is accountable for her promises too… (if I say we can’t go swimming today but I’ll take you Friday we put it on our calendar in her color and obviously dry erase marker has never been more truly etching in stone. Anyway, I bought these in May of this year. It is August now. Actually it’s 3 months to the day since I bought these. I read the packaging thoroughly so that I could store them correctly. Usually dry erase markers don’t last long but I never really cared either- I preferred being able to keep my pens in my cool Minnie Pearl mug rather than care about their sustainability. But these were all so brand new and such pretty colors and Oh! The things I was going to write! The lists! The honey-dos to my husband! The bathroom mirror reminders! I even made a little box just the perfect length for storing these markers horizontally AND rearranged and shelf in my kitchen so they could be within reach of the whiteboard but not too close to any possible over heating. I know, I hear y’all, you’re right, this is TOO MUCH for some color sticks that wipe your words away to nothingness. But guys I LOVE me some pens and markers and notebooks and all of it so it’s just kinda my jam please accept me. This is a quote directly from Expo’s website: “When not in use, EXPO markers stored horizontally with caps installed tightly will last approximately 2-3 years.” Also this… “Depending on the extent of solvent loss, the markers can often be restored. Place the cap back on the marker tightly and store tip down for 24 hours. The marker should revive.” I did all that. Followed my instructions perfectly. Maybe there’s some unwritten but understood rule about expo markers that I don’t know. Maybe it’s just a weird fluke that of 8 markers of varying colors 4 of them have completely just stopped working. And the other 4 are great. But it really rained on my color-coding parade. So maybe it’s because I can’t handwrite snarky love notes to my husband with red hearts and blue pants and full-color hoagies on our whiteboard that has left me with the time and amount of intention it took to write this review… I’m just saying… it would have been so awesome if I could have used them for more than three months. Kinda feels like a rip off. And target is so awesome about fixing things like this… I’m sure they would replace it or refund it or whatever but I don’t feel like they should have to; I don’t think this was their fault. So if you made it all the way this far my review is, “meh. I’d keep looking if i was you.

Doesn’t work well they don’t write at all

Pens that do their job
Love these pens, they are truly fine tip and write well! Good bold colors
Cici –
Mostly happy.
The pink, red, and orange are very hard to see. But the tip is very fine! Which I needed. Love the purple, blue, black and green!
Lily –
Not worth it
Black, green were dried out and the purple was broken or else I would have returned them.
Kieux –
Great product.
I love the fine point. I also love the way the ink comes out. I would definitely buy these again.
Winnief7 –
Very fine point
I did not pay attention they were very fine point, their for my 6 year old. But they work great she has flattened the point but writes much neater than with the normal ones. Very happy with purchase.
Expo dry erase markers –
Replacement
The replacement order was shipped in much better packaging and more care.
JH –
Doesnt show up well
The ultra fine point was perfect for writing more in small spaces. But the marker ink looks SO pale because the lines are so thin. So, be aware of that. It’s not going to be bright or dark ink.
Annie –
A must for dry erase calendars.
So happy that I found these at my local target. Ultra fine tip dry erase markers are hard to come by for some reason. Now I don’t have to cram two or more events into one small box for the day. My one photo you can see the difference between fine tip and ultra fine tip. I only use these for my fridge calendar but it’s going on two months and they’re still working like brand new.
Target Shopper 89 –
Hit or miss
Some of the colors died extremely quickly, but the ones that still work are nice for writing on a dry erase calendar
Merry Christmas –
Good
They’re good dry erase markers. Nothing special, nothing bad.
glee3 –
Perfect for calendar whiteboard
The Ultra fine tip is a MUST if you use a white board calender. The marker itself does bleed a little after writing, as in the lettering expands. Overall, Love all the 8 colors & will be repurchasing!
