They are supposed to be 1.5 , which is the boldest I’ve seen. Well, it didn’t seem like they were all that bold. What really was a bummer is the fact 2 of the pens fling apart as soon as you press down to write! I hate having to do returns.

I LOVE these pens. They have a smooth point glide when writing. The design of the pen makes writing for long periods of time comfortable. Each color is vibrant and true to tone. The ink does not bleed through the paper, either. 10/10 would recommend.

These are my favorite pens for going on a decade now. Since I’m so familiar with them, I recognized instantly when they removed the pink and orange pens, and replaced them with a second black and blue. I’m hoping this is temporary and supply related, and that they’ll return to the old lineup, but in the meantime I’m giving a lower rating.

Fun colors, write smoothly
I bought these pens to use in my daily home planner. I love the variety of colors for color-coding different activities. After the initial few strokes, I haven’t had any issues with the ink skipping… they write smoothly. I would order again.

Needed for note taking
I do like the various colors it came with which at last minute on my way to target I was looking for. Needed a pen and a notebook for note taking but figured why not pick this up cause I do love using ballpoint pens. Currently using purple and all I did was write 1 and it write so smooth and it easy to hold. The pen also feels light as well. So far it seems great. Hopefully other colors does the same 🙂

I like how the pens comes in a box containing 36, and the box is easy to open, and easy to close. When I took a pen out of the box, I really liked the overall look of the pen. The pen is lightweight, and I like the grip on the bottom, which is very comfortable. The pen clicks open to expose the ball point, and click again to re-track the ball point. The pen writes very smoothly, evenly, and has become my new favorite pen at my desk. I also like how the pen has a clip near the top, making it easy to attach it to my shopping list, or to my pocket.

Smooth writing tip and comfortable in the hand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Writing a review on a pen is sometimes a simple does it work and last. But the Profile is a different story. It’s a high quality pen, especially for the price. It is comfortable in the hand and doesn’t tire your grip. I tend to write for up to an hour at a time and typically 3 to 4 hours a day, so the comfort in the hand is important. The pens also use ink judiciously, meaning they last for several weeks before running low on ink. The glide on the paper is smooth and there is very little to no bleeding on the page. This is just a really good, workhorse of a pen.

Paper Mate Writing is smooth again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Paper Mate Profile red pen to try and state how I felt using this pen writing. I took it into work, as I figured this would be the place I would get the most use out of a red pen. I was surprised at the quality of the ball point and the smooth writing that the pen produced. My last memories of Paper Mate : they were thin pens, hard to hold onto, slippery shafts, just meh writing. This pen, though, was smooth. The handle or grip was soft, easy to hold for longer amounts of time writing and I didn’t feel my hand cramping up as it can with a smaller grip writing pen. Then ink flowing easily to write on the paper made it nice. Some of the pens that I use at work seem to skip on the forms that I have to fill out or stop writing and have to be reprimed. They are a basic office supply store and generic store brand name, but I have had brand name pens skip and feel like they couldn’t or wouldn’t write on the paperwork that I have to complete. These PaperMate pens wrote smoothly, felt comfortable, didn’t give me an hiccups when writing and really seem like they will write forever. They just keep writing and writing. I enjoy the PaperMate Profile pen and will look to them for pens to purchase in the future for a nice writing, non-smearing pen that is easy to hold for longer writing times and a quality line of ink where you write that looks nice on the paper. I would purchase these again to use for all my uses in the future.

It’s a great blue shade and it writes nicely as well. My only problem on these is that the tip is so fat and mostly it’s just because I’m not used to it. It was kind of awkward writing with it. But it’s very smooth across the page and the ink is good so I would still recommend these pens – I just need to find a smaller tip.

It reminds me of writing with a gel style ink. It flows on lined paper, thicker puzzle book paper & computer printer paper with no issues & it has yet to smear too! The pen itself is plastic, it has a push button tip, clip & comfortable grip! This will be used mostly to grade my nieces homeschool work/home work, but will also be used (as shown) in my puzzle book(s) & to write quick notes or lists. Once it is removed the pen writes smoothly. I like the rubber piece that is on the top part of the pen that makes it easier to grip and stay in place while writing with it. Works well all the time.

Stop and start writing
