Headache Inducing
I love all the Pokemon Squishmallows and am trying to “catch ‘em all.” That being said, as soon as this one released, I checked the app to see where it was and drove 30+ minutes to get to the store that day before they sold out. When I got there I couldn’t find it anywhere so I asked someone. Apparently they had them there but they were in a box in the back and there was no way to find them because they hadn’t been unloaded yet. I asked when he thought it would be out and was told a few hours. I left and went home. I went back the next day to get one but guess what. They still weren’t out. I asked again. Was told the same thing, with an addition of being told I can call to check before I get there. Next day, I call, repeatedly. I could never get a person on the phone. After a few hours I went to the store. They still were NOT out. At this point I was beyond upset because the app showed they were there, some of them were being sold, as the numbers were dwindling, and yet they weren’t on the shelves and no one could fine one for me. How does that make sense? And it’s not like I could get it anywhere else because it’s a Target exclusive. After the third day of driving out and not getting one, I found another store on the app that had them listed. Another 45 min away. But I went there anyways. I get there and can’t find them. Of course. I get an employee to help me and she actually found a box of them in the back! Hallelujah! She brought out the box of them. She was awesome. Thank you to her! There was about ten or so in the box. I go to grab one and it had black scuff looking marks on it. Okay…no biggie…a bunch of the Squishmallows at Target have those, especially the Pokemon for whatever reason. So I grabbed a different one. More marks. I pulled out and checked every single one of them. Every single one had black scuff marks. At this point I felt cursed and frankly, ticked off. I grabbed the one with the least amount of marks and left. When they were finally released for online ordering, I ordered two more. When they arrived, guess what? More black scuff marks!!!!! Are you serious?! I brought them to the store to return them. Yet more driving. Something needs to be fixed in the way they are shipped and stored because it’s not like Squishmallows are cheap. Especially the big ones. And you can’t put them in a washer/dryer because you’ll destroy them. They’re collectibles. A little more care would be nice.

DAMAGED TAG- TREATED CARELESSLY
Came in the mail with the tag ripped and just carelessly packaged. These are collectible and in order to maintain value. The TAGS on squishmallows MUST be treated with care. Every squishmallow I’ve gotten mailed to me from Target is either missing the tag or it is treated very roughly. Now I can’t replace the item or do anything about it but return it. I didn’t order it and spend the money just to return it because they don’t keep anymore in stock. Not pleased at all.

The Santa hat is removable. So not only is this a large Pikachu squishmallow it’s a year round squishmallow. There’s 4 small stitches that are easily undone and the Santa hat is an entire plush hat on it’s own. I had my wife take a picture with her hand on the pikachu for size estimate.

I want to start out by saying if you can purchase this item in store. I have ordered online and both times pikachu comes not packaged in any kind of bag to protect it from stains or the elements outside of the box. Both pikachus came with black marks on it which is frustrating as it is a gift. I am hopeful that I can find one in store that’s clean. It is super adorable and is great for any child who loves Christmas, pikachu, or squishmallows.

It’s really really cute and very squishy and larger than I thought but the shipping was awful. It arrived in a box with no bag, just air pockets and it’s filthy.
