Pancho –
Very well-made and well-designed pocket knife with a good feel and fast opening. My liner-lock needs a bit of work… not completely smooth, but that will improve over time. I would have liked inlays in the metal scales of rubber or perhaps G-10, but the shape is very good in my hand.My one caveat with this knife is the window breaker which is very pointy and working it’s way through my pocket. I’ve had this problem in the past, and tonight I decided to resolve it by cutting the glass-breaker off with a micro tool and carborundum disc. It took awhile, owing to the hardness of the window breaking stud. Actually very impressive.Still, the window breaker had to go.Other than that I love this knife. I’m actually not a huge fan of the whole “stonewashed” blade thing, but I like it on this particular knife. I also appreciate the seatbelt/string cutter, and the jimping on the blade back and top of the handle. The serrated blade is super sharp.Very pleased with this knife. Hoping it will be with me for a long while. Truly a tremendous value at this price.

The edge came literally shaving sharp. Metal scales – yet still fairly light, sharp glass breaker, prominent seatbelt cutter, and quick one-hand opening. The blade springs open, but is easily closed. I can confidently recommend this knife. Great value.

I owned 1 of these previously, but unfortunately I lost it to my forgetfulness. Ordered another to replace it. The blade is extremely high quality and I used it for many, many things that have broken the blades of other brands I have owned. This pocket knife is a must for someone who wants an easy to open and close and a blade that is incredibly RELIABLE!! Even has the seat belt cutter and window punch. Thankfully I have not had to use them yet. I highly recommend this knife to anyone!

My buddies like the $200 knives, but always leave them at home and then carry something like this because losing a $200 knife is very sad. A friend stood in line at a museum for 90 minutes and then lost his $50 knife because they had metal detectors and he would either have to surrender the knife forever or walk three miles back to the car and then get back in line. Looking back, he wishes that he did just take a nice walk. You just can’t have anything nice these days …Overall, I really like this knife. I bought this because I really needed something more stout than my Swiss Army Knife which dulls after opening the mail. The blade is stout, flips out quickly with an impressive click, and then locks into place. Mine was very sharp along the entire length, but I opted for the combination blade with the serrated edge near the handle. This seems to stay very sharp, is very well built, and the glass-breaker on the end is more realistic than the one on my “tactical” pen. The razor-blade belt cutter is a bonus, but I wish it were replaceable since it cannot be easily resharpened. The one thing I don’t get is the German name and the “knife-porn” video advertisement. The package looks very German with the name and the logo, but it is very clearly made in China. This isn’t fine, Mercedes/BMW craftsmanship, but it is well-done, cheap Chinese.

I’ve been through a number of knives over the years. I generally keep one with me at all times. If I have pants on, I have a knife in my back pocket. I live on a farm and that knife gets used 20 times a day, and generally gets sharpened once or twice a week, at least. So I’m pretty tough on my EDC knife, so it needs to be pretty tough as well. And I’ve also found over the years that given the way I use my knife, I might lose it, so I hesitate to spend a lot of money on a knife. So I look for a the best I can get for under $50.I got this one a couple of weeks ago, so I can’t attest to its long-term durability. However, having had several similar cheaper knives by other manufacturers and seen how they have failed, I’m expecting this one to last.On to the knife itself. It seems to be really well made. The side plates appear to be machined steel with a powder-coat finish. I like the incised texture which makes for a sure grip. I also really like the slight roundness of the profile of the side plates, making the knife feel even slimmer than it is, and making it feel really comfortable to the hand. No sharp edges or corners anywhere. Speaking of thinness, this is a very trim knife. Clip it in a pocket and you hardly know it is there. I also like the fact that there are only three screws holding the side plates on, and they are recessed flush. In terms of functionality, there is nothing special here, but nothing special is needed. This is a simple knife and it works well. It opens with a flick and it closes with a click. It is comfortable in the hand when open, and the boss which you use to open the knife, becomes a very nice thumb rest when open, preventing your thumb from sliding onto the serrations. The knife seemed to be a little slow opening at first, but after playing with it a bit is loosened up nicely. The closing lock is standard design and works well. The blade is a very nice, traditional, useful shape, unlike the two-stage blades that seem to be popular, which I don’t care for. This has a single curved stage beyond the serrations. The blade is nicely hollow-ground which gives it a thin cross section just behind the edge, which makes sharpening much easier. The serrations take up only about 1/3 of the edge length, which is plenty for something that only gets rarely used, That said, they are a nice design and really sharp. Finally, the clip is nicely curved to match the slight curve of the handle, is low profile, and is really secure. All in all, this is a very nice knife for the money.I’ve had the knife as a daily carry for about six months now. As you can see from the photos it is showing some wear from constant use. However it is still in great shape, the blade opening and locking mechanism is still precise, the clip is still tight. Really satisfied with this knife!

Sometimes cheap prices items can be waste of money and other times they can be a pleasant surprise, you can chalk this to the latter. I was totally impressed with the quality of this knife you the money and the best part after regular use the blade has remained razor sharp. I only wish some of my more expensive knife were this good ? I would highly recommend this knife to anyone and don’t let the price fool you.
