Such a cute book. The beginning grabs you from the start. I have loved this series and characters. I enjoyed how all three characters were different in personalities and careers but intertwined through past history and future. Great read with spice so nice.

Thoroughly Pucked, which is part of the My Hockey Romance series, was such a fun book! This one can be read without having read the others, there is no issue with that at all, but I will tell you, this is such a fun series, you should want to read the others!Aubrey is getting ready the morning of her wedding only to be visited by her groom and told he no longer wants to get married. He still wants to play the field, her included. Um, what?! Naturally she tells him to take a hike, but what she doesn’t tell him is that she was about to call it off herself because she didn’t feel about him the way one should feel about the man one is marrying. So, she calls her brother, who is a sports agent and who enlists the help of two of his clients, hockey players Dev and Ledger, to “rescue” her from her own abandoned wedding. The three of them have quite the crazy afternoon full of hilarity after they leave the church and get her away from everything that has gone down.Knowing she has her nonrefundable honeymoon coming up, she decides to go and Dev and Ledger end up going with her. Upon arrival and check-in the room that the honeymoon suite are assigned only has one bed, which stands to reason, which sets them up for everything that unfolds. It becomes clear pretty quickly that they are all attracted to one another, but will anyone say anything? Is anyone willing to make that first move? There are certainly plenty of funny, spicy, and sizzling scenes to be had in this book.I absolutely loved these characters and how much they “got” one another. They just seemed to fit together so well. They all wanted to help one another and do things for one another just to see the others smile and feel good even if it was the smallest thing, which I loved. This one had so little angst and I was so here for that. I read this right at the right time for me given that many things I’ve read lately have been angst filled. This was just a fun-filled, throple romance!

Lauren Blakely returns to her why-choose style, hockey romcom series with Thoroughly Pucked, featuring a jilted/runaway bride and her older brother’s two best friends. Lauren brilliantly combines heart and humor with a touch of forbidden allure as she tackles the contradictions of a bride who was left at the altar as she comes to terms with the fact that she feels more relieved than rejected while she’s on what should have been her honeymoon with her big brother’s two best friends. I listened to the audiobook, which narrated in duet by Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton. Incredible performances were delivered by this cast who were as in-sync as the first line of a Stanley Cup winning NHL team.Blakely brings it all together with witty writing and expert pacing that created a narrative that was both laugh-out-loud funny and sizzling with chemistry. The vibrant and endearing trio of characters each contributed to the chaos in their own hilarious and heartwarming ways. Navigating the uncharted territory of their unconventional romance, their love story was full of surprises as it unfolded and kept me hooked from start to finish.A steamy and emotionally resonant hockey romance that defies convention, Lauren hit all the right notes in Thoroughly Pucked. Blakely turned the runaway bride trope on its head with a seriously sexy twist and a heroine making her way through the forbidden terrain of a love triangle with two of her brother’s best friends. The cleverly crafted dynamic between the characters made for an absolutely addictive, unputdownable read with as many heart-racing moments as there were humorous ones. Who doesn’t want to go to a double unhoneymoon?I am loving this series but this book is my favorite so far!! I loved the way Aubrey and Ledger learned a way to talk about hard things and being vulnerable, and how Dev also finds his way to talk about what really matters.Looking forward to the next one more than ever now that I got introduced to Brair

My only sad meh on it was the ending. It was definitely cute and perfect. However my hair salon is a plant shop as well as full hair salon… Its my favorite place on the planet to get my hair done then after i buy a cute plant. And i would have melted if they had done that too 😅🥹

Sweet and spicy
I’m really enjoying this series. I have been a Lauren Blakely fan for a long time and of course I love a good hockey romance, as well as a reverse haram too. So of course I don’t hate how she’s combined the 2 into a wholes series. I like how even though her stories are spicy and a but smutty, the story is still heartfelt and sweet. Can’t wait for the next one. Happy reading!

“Don’t settle when it comes to cake or men. You hear me, Aubs?”Oh I felt for Aubrey in the beginning of this read. Being left at the alter and the conversation she had with her ex.. I wanted to throttle him.I loved how quickly her brother, Garrett, took over damage control and the best thing he could have done was ask his two besties to get his sister out of there.“Is Stern Brunch Daddy going to be the voice of reason?”Dev and Ledger don’t have to be asked twice. They get her out of there and then they are determined to lift her spirits and this leads to a pretty hilarious confrontation with her ex (the cardboard cut out.. iykyk).“Did we just become best friends?”They soon decide that they would all go on her scheduled honeymoon so she wouldn’t lose out on her trip. This leads to some pretty open conversations seeing as both guys are attracted to her and they are up for sharing.Going on this ‘honeymoon’ was definitely an eye opener for Aubrey especially when they discover there is only one bed and I loved how natural their relationship is. This read was healing, playful and so spicy when it was needed.I’ve loved this series so much and these characters.. they just worked so well together that I literally couldn’t put this down.

Can’t go wrong with Lauren Blakley. I’ve read few from This author and they disappoint.This series though is, cute, fun, low angst and hot 🔥 great for a change when I feel I need a break from darker reads and I have devoured this series in three days! Can not wait for the next one.We meet Aubrey, Ledger and Dev. Aubrey is a runaway bride of sorts and her brother’s best friends help her enjoy her ‘meant to be honeymoon ‘ things soon heat up !!!!No CheatingNo other woman drama

This series is great but I think this one might be my favorite. Spice scenes are hot. The characters are very well rounded. And the miscommunication trope is completely crushed. It’s so refreshing. I don’t have a problem with miscommunication as such but it was lovely to have open and honest characters. Very well done and really enjoyable x

ARC REVIEW:This book!! I am absolutely obsessed with this series and Throughly Pucked did not disappoint for sure! | 1000% LOVED IT! The runaway bride, the two friends helping her and being there for her when she needed it the most! Absolutely incredible work on this book! The relationship Aubrey, Dev and Ledger have? It’s a dream, the great communication, the commitment, the support they give each other and that they’re always rooting for each of them, I cannot, they have raised for sure my standards for Love and life. To sum it up, this book was great, I am still very much obsessed with Lauren’s books, I am already mega excited for the next one in the series, also super grateful to have received an ARC Copy of the book cause that by itself is a dream and I’m very much looking forward to seeing people read it in a few days when it’s live! 1000000/10 would recommend and will def reread at some point this year!!
