The top hose connection from the timer itself to the house spigot is not secure. You slide the connection onto the spigot and then slide a plastic piece into a groove to secure it in place. It is not threaded, so is not secure at all. Even using tape around the spigot it does not hold well and is not water tight causing water to pours out and leak everywhere. The outbound connectors are threaded and interface to program the timers themselves is user friendly. Would be a useful product if the inbound connector was threaded allowing for a tight connection. Disappointing product.

I bought this for my plant babies. I had surgery and needed to spend a couple of days in the hospital and I wasn’t sure how long it would be before I could get back into the garden. I figured that this would at least keep everything watered until I was back to normal. It’s very easy to set up and program. I really like that it has spaces for 2 hoses. I used one to attach to my sprinkler, but I left the other one with a regular hose. It turns on and off when it is supposed to. I haven’t noticed any leaks, but I made sure to use Teflon tape to secure it.

I should have read the reviews on this before buying! All of the reviews that mention that the inlet connection broke are accurate. Of course it happened after the 30 day return window so now I’m just out $30!

The plastic that threads into the original chrome housing, broke apart, from the item itself and is no longer usable, funny that this all transpires after the return window has closed so this is a manufacture defect.

A piece of junk. Minimal controls of schedule and the plastic is poor quality. Leaked a lot, even with the plumber’s tape on it.

Keep the instrictions forever because running it for manual isn’t obvious to someone less than familiar. .y other ones state “Manual” and its simple from there. This one you push/hold the faucet looking button (also used for selection when setting the settings) then opt for time allowance….but if you just push, you may change the otehr settings accidentally. Just weird.

I installed the timer and tested it on the manual setting, but when I looked at it, it was set to 99 hours. I got up early so I could make sure it would turn on and it didn’t. I have no idea why. It is on me that I purchased one with two outlets and then found I only needed one. There seems to be no way to turn off the second valve. I think it is probably good, but the instructions don’t really tell me how to use it.

Solid construction (my last one – from another manufacturer, leaked) of the body and the outlets. I found the programming intuitive and easy to accomplish. The screen is well laid out and has all the information on a single screen.Highly recommend. I would purchase it again.

I purchased 2 of these, I was really pleased until one started leaking out the bottom, on July 4th, and the return window had closed on July 1st, but the manufacturer did give me a full refund.

I ordered thus timer valve and the next day when it was supposed to run, the times were not set to what I just programmed. I replaced it with another of the same product. Even with new Energizer batteries the programmed start and run times changed. I never connected the replacement to my faucet because I was worried it would do this again.I tried 2 of these valves and both had the same issues with programming. Upon the start time arriving the program seems to take on a life of its own and keeps changing so it stays running.I pay the city for water and cannot afford to waste thousands of gallons with faulty water timer valves.I do not recommend this product to anyone. It does not hold the programming set.

Negative Stars. Don’t Buy one of these, it is a Piece of JUNK.Nothing about this timer works, won’t turn on the sprinkler won’t turn off the sprinkler. If you manually turn it on it on it never turns off and opens both right and left side.I’ve changed the batteries twice hoping that was the problem, the screen won’t even stay on.I bought this back in March hoping to get ahead of the hot dry season only to find I wasted my time and money.

You get what you pay for. Decent, cheap control, but the plastic housing at the hose inlet cracked after a couple months.

Sadly, by the time I got this to the condo where I was to use it, the time for returns had passed. That was my fault. But when I did try to install it, the device wouldn’t screw on well; I tried to set the timer and the screen then went blank (multiple times); and it leaked! There is not a single single redeeming feature about this that would even merit 0 stars, let alone the single star I was forced to give.

Really liked the ease of using this sprinkler, but almost a month in it started leaking at the faucet side. It attaches with a clip, easy on and off but not secure.Amazon did an exchange but the second one did the same thing about 3 weeks in. Sent it back an looking for a different brand. Disappointed but at least I didn’t get stuck with a leaky timer.

This is an awful product I purchased in Jan to be ready for the spring and I was so disappointed that I was unable to return it after I tried it out. It leaks the timers are difficult to use and there is no easy way to bypass the times. It’s a waste of money cheaply made and I would not buy again. Unfortunately I got stuck with two!

Never worked. No matter how many batteries I put in it always showed a low battery level and I had to reset the darned thing every time I put in a new set just to make sure the batteries weren’t the issue.It leaked and never went on as scheduled. I bought an inexpensive one from Big Lots that works perfectly. This is junk.

Leaks everywhere. Even with supplied plumbers tape , water seeps from poorly molded connectors. Water also drips Fromm the plastic pipes that hold the connectors. I’ve used several different timers over the years and have come not to expect high quality, but this was clearly the worst of them all.

If you’re trying to use this so you can leave your faucet on, as it’s intended, look for a different timer. It just constantly let’s water run through and out of the unit, a great way to get termites.

The interface was not very good and mildly annoying to manually water plants. It was properly attached to the greenhouse wall and developed a crack at or just below the water inlet, so it leaked water constantly.

They leak no matter what you do; plumber’s tape, tightening, positioning…!Also the timers reset occasionally or just don’t run for no reason! If you use the manual setting, the timer changes to 99min run time every 1 minute no matter what you set it at!

The set up wasn’t a challenge. But I don’t like that when the screen goes to sleep it doesn’t automatically cut off the water. And it also limits the water pressure even when it’s just one station that’s running.

Exactly 6 days after return allowed expires. the thing started to leak about 5 gallons a minute. So now it’s junk unless I want to pay exorbitant water and sewer fee. Don’t buy

Ordered one it came and a retaining clip broke during installation. Sent in back. Ordered new one got it installed. It cut the water pressure in half. Sent it back.
