  We wanted a quiet- close toilet seat anyway, so when I had knee surgery, the time had come. It is easy to install, lightweight, easy clean, very sturdy, and quiet. Provides the perfect "lift" for our Toto toilet. Excellent choice!

  This seat has been used for nearly two months. It looks like I just pulled it from the box. While it's lightweight, it is very sturdy. The mounting system is the best I have ever seen. Once you have the mounting posts installed the seat goes on with a gentle downward push. The bonus is that there is a built in button you push to take the seat loose for cleaning. It really is a great system. Aligning the seat is a plus as well with its adjustable mounting posts. Well done Kohler!

  Received this today and it took a few minutes to install. It's perfect... just the right height, which is easy on the knees. It's constructed well, and solid.

  My husband had a hip replacement in May, and found that our 'comfort height' toilet needed no modifications other than the assist bars that are shown in the last photo. However, this week he had the first of his knee replacement surgeries, and his first try at sitting on the toilet was impossible. The seat was just too low. Local shops only stocked the blow-molded plastic toilet toppers that clamp onto the existing toilet base, requiring the existing seat to either remain up all the time (nope, close seat before flushing!!), or to be removed and attached to the seat riser. Aesthetically, they look less than attractive, reminding one of a hospital or nursing home. Not only thst, but reviews are mixed, with many users reporting that they shift and slide under the body's weight and movement, and can even come unlatched completely. This any acceptable for anyone, but especially for someone with new joint replacements for whom safety and proper joint alignment while moving is essential. It was by reading one of these products' reviews where I came across a written account of another person's experience with one of those cheap plastic risers, and he mentioned going with the Kohler Hyten seat. I found the product, and was immediately impressed. Ordered it for one-day delivery. When it came today, I grabbed my phillips screwdriver and got to work. Our existing toilet seat was a Kohler, and so was delighted to find that the silicone/stainless top-mount anchors are the same for both seats! All I had to do was remove the screws and old seat, and install the new seat's mounting plates snugly in place. Snap on the covers, and the seat was installed! Took me no more than ten minutes. It installs completely from the top. Fits our elongated toilet perfectly, and looks clean and very modern. The seat is smooth and comfortable, and even though I don't need the extra height myself at 5'4", it's not too high for me to use easily. The material is the same as our regular Kohler toilet seat - smooth, hygienic, and comfortably contoured. It even has a soft-close hinge, which I consider essential. Kohler thought of everything with this one. Hubby has been napping, and I'm sure he will be surprised - and happy - too see this seat in place for his added comfort while recovering from his knee replacement. I do not anticipate needing to remove this seat after he's completely mobile again (the second knee will be replaced in about 6 weeks) because it looks so nice, but if I would decide to do so, I know that it will be extremely easy. I highly recommend this product as a much better option for anyone needing a taller toilet seat, whether you're just very tall or you need it for home convalescence.

  Comfortable and well-madeThis toilet seat assists people with limited mobility access the toilet easily and with the extra height boost from this seat, they can stand up easily too.

  I liked the ease of assembly, and that the seat can be easily removed for cleaning with a push of a button. Also, the slow-close cover can be used, and the raised seat can be lifted for cleaning. I purchased this seat because it fits the elongated bowl. Measuring from the rear hinge hole to the front of the bowl is 18.625”. The entire seat is well designed, very secure, and looks nice.

  This elevated toilet seat is perfect. It looks great. it's stable because it screws in tightly, just like a regular toilet seat. But best of all, it's easy for me to get up off the seat. As I've gotten older (almost 80 now), a regular height toilet sits way too low for me and I need a grab bar to pull myself up. Not any more. At first I didn't think the seat was comfortable (it felt like I was sitting on a rim) but that was because I was used to having my feet flat on the floor. Now I sit with only the balls of my feet are on floor and the seat is very comfortable. So happy I found it.

  Works Great!I bought this in December 2022 but didn't get around to installing it until last month (July 2024) . When I opened the box there was just the seat and a page of instructions but no hardware. I tracked down a 1-800 number for Kohler and was hoping I would be able to buy the missing parts. The young guy at Kohler told me that the fact that I bought it in 2022 but didn't open the box until last month didn't matter - their warranty started when the box is opened - not when it was bought. So he took my name and address and told me he would ship the missing parts out to me at no charge. I received the parts last week and installed it the next day. That is outstanding customer service and support!The seat itself installed in less than fifteen minutes and fit perfectly on a fifty year old American Standard toilet. The mounting flange has about an inch of room for back and forth adjustment so it should fit on any round toilet. The design is solid and once the mounting bolts are tightened it sits snuggly without wobbling. And it pops off very easily for cleaning. The height is ideal for older people like my wife and me who have both had hip replacements and is a great alternative to those portable toilet seats that sit on top of the regular seat. And the fact that it is a soft close seat is a nice feature as well.So highly recommended for the quality of the seat itself with a special shout-out to Kohler for their fantastic customer service.
