My son (7) is very interested in the periodic table and the elements. Bought this for him so he can learn more. He loves it! It had a good balance of pictures and text.

I would recommend this book to everyone. Gorgeous photos and brief explanations of the history and use of each element. My goal is to learn 5 per week...by March I'll know them all.

It’s definitely a gateway book to knowing and understanding the elements of this earth. It’s perfect travel book, but also very effective during quiet time and stirs imagination and interest

Very good book with lots of colorful pictures. Well arranged and easy to navigate. Very impressed. Bought other periodic table books but this was the best!

Glued binding WILL break over time if not bent properly from the beginning of use. Can be bent properly or fixed with superglue if needed before pages start falling out, but best to fold it 1/4th inch in from edge to wear-in the binding. Love the photo display & bold print!

Great purchaseMy 7 year old loves this book. He’s a very good reader and loves to read non-fiction. It would be suitable for older kids too, including high school. It’s a large hardcover with a silver cover. Thick pages with a good mix of text and photos. The first few pages are an introduction to elements (I’m glad I read hose with him so he understands the general concept), then the book is organized by groups of elements, and each element within that group includes the same info (i.e. # of electrons, protons, neutrons, year element was discovered, etc). Great purchase! (Now I’ll have a reason to purchase my son the tshirt that says “I wear this shirt periodically” and has the table of elements on it! Lol!)
