Really light of the path ways, I’ve had to check a few times to make sure the porch light wasnt one. They don’t do well a lawn mower so make sure they are well seated in the ground or raise the front height of the mower as that is what my caught on, as far as riding mowers I’ve ran o er them a few time and they have withstood the weight.

they work great but they’re made really cheap and they do break easily (the base does) but the light itself is okay. they’re really sharp on the metal so if you have children that like to pull your lights out of the ground… maybe think about that one first because i refrained from putting them in grabbing reach. they could be dangerous. i bought two boxes but returned one, keep in mind they will only shine straight up so the light isn’t really helpful in lighting a walkway, unless you stick them under a tree or shrub. they’re more of a accent light than a purpose light lol

We live on the corner of a street and I wanted to light up the side of my house to guide the passersby away. The lights did just that. The posts are a little flimsy but first impression with the lights is they are exactly as described and bright. I’m going to wait a few days before I order another dozen…I was looking for something different and that’s exactly what they are.

I like the design and sleekness of these lights. The material itself seems to be holding up so far in this AZ heat. We don’t get much rain but when I wash the car or patio, they do get wet and sometimes are in a little puddle. Unfortunately after a month of having these, some no longer work and only give off a dim light.

These lights are awesome! No charging is by far my favorite thing. I wanted to add a little light in the yard so it wasn’t pitch black back there. I will say, they aren’t the brightest lights so if you’re looking for something to really light up a space, I would look elsewhere. But I love the gold hue these give off. Would recommend.

I’ve found these very useful and a nice, safe way to illuminate edges of my driveway. But, some keep working well and others stop working altogether. I don’t know why.UPDATE from April, 2023–Now Sept, 2024: Some of these lights are still working. If you find one not working, before you give up on it, check the back; there’s actually an on/off switch. I found that some were in the OFF mode, and worked again, when switched ON. I’ve seen condensation inside the top cover, so they’re not completely waterproof, but they’ve been through a lot of weather, including heavy rains. Some still work, and if charged in full sun, will stay brightly lit for several hours. These have been handy, when returning home after dark. For the cost, I think I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth.

In Sept it will be 1 year I’ve used them. Still like these lights, but they look a bit worn after all this time. I have never used the stakes, as the places I need these don’t have enough daylight for charging, so I just move them all together in the a.m. to a sunny place. All of them worked until a few months ago when 2 failed. There’s been a lot of rain some of which got into the lights. That’s the reason for the failure. They’re still quite bright and I like they’re not large in diameter & don’t stand out during the day. Not sorry I got them. May get more.

Make sure to put these in the ground when it’s wet or dig them in! I broke a few bottoms before figuring this out. I have had them in for 2 months now lining my driveway and only 1 has broke.

This a bright and show up well. I gave the lights 4 stars becausee the posts are really flimsy. When I putting them in the ground several of the stems snapped with hardly any force being applied. They actually sit well on the retaining wall. I would recommend not putting them in the ground and just placing the disks where you want them.

I gave it four stars because three of the lights already have burned out completely, so Not sure if the lifespan for these lights are short-lived, but so far the remaining ones are still good.

Bought the white style in Feb of 24. They are bright enough in the night that it is actually difficult to see the sidewalk they line. 1 unit is no longer working in May, 3 months later. Rather disappointing.In the hard soil found in Arizona desert, the plastic stakes are certainly difficult to get into the ground. Need to pre-make a hole in the ground and hope it does not back-fill with sand immediately before I can get the device in the ground. The plastic solar disk itself tends to bend/crackle when applying pressure to get them into the ground. Not sure I will buy again.

I didnt like this as much as I thought I would. They work, but dont give off as much light as you think it will. You can mow over them if you need to. Have to be careful of the piece that it sits on…one broke right out of the box. But they work so thats something.

Installed around 6pm and these photos were taken at 5am the next morning!! We only purchased these because my husband needed a “light guide” to help him back the toter home and trailer in at night. There is a street light but it’s hard to judge where the edge of concrete is.I worried street light would be too bright causing them to not stay lit but no problem there!When installing these, they were shaded because of toter and sunset but still daylight out, so I expected to have to wait til the next night to see if they worked after being in direct sunlight all day but nope!Also while installing, one of the lights stayed on constantly even if I placed it in direct sunlight. I thought well for the price, 11out of 12 wasn’t bad but maybe after it dies, it’ll work correctly the next night. It was still lit at 5am morning after install too! Will see how the last but first night is win!!

There are soooo many sellers of these things on Amazon (and I have reviewed at least one other version).Here’s the thing(s). First, these are never, ever, weatherproof. Some will last for years. Others will fail in a matter of months. The culprit? Water getting inside the solar array. Second, they grow less and less bright over the span of a season. Likely culprit? A sub-optimal (meaning: cheap) solar array. Third, and in this particular case, two of them arrived non-operational. Culprit? Poor QC. Previous times? One or two didn’t work. Never got a full set that worked. Ever.Will I send them back? Nope. Should the seller send me a few replacements? Sure. Is it worth my time to attempt getting them? Not really.I love the design/look of these pucks (and have bought variations that include eight or even twelve lights on each puck). But I am resigned to the fact that these are an annual purchase. I absolutely hate the look of those plastic ones that you can buy at a big-box store. Strange thing is, those seem to last longer even if they make your yard look tacky. And I am too lazy and stingy to pay the costs for wiring real lights in my yard. So, that’s on me. I just wish they could improve the overall quality/longevity of these.I suspect they are all made in the same factory in Guangzhou or Shenzhen, right next to the other factory that churns out any number of water flossers, electronic toothbrushes, etc. Not a complaint at all. That is the way the world operates.My advice? Buy them. But be ready to replace them–all or some–within a year . . . and to get a couple of duds.OULONGER US, if you are reading this, I hope you understand that my three-star review is not a suggestion that you are a bad seller. But it is a representation of the fact that this is an average product (for the price). Average product = Average review.

Loved the idea on these solar lights, sadly however, they are not everything I hoped for. First, the plastic prongs are so flimsy that they bend going in (I used in mulch, a pot with plants and the ground), and second, they provide very little light. Ultimately, I ended up placing all but two under one tree and it did a fairly good job.I would not recommend this product if you are looking for something sturdy and a brighter light.

The lights look fantastic! They provide a lovely warm glow around some new landscaping in our back yard. The lights are easy to place in the ground with the stake that comes with each light. The stakes are plastic, so make sure the ground is soft before trying to push it in. The lights can be placed and moved easily based on the kind of effect you desire.I waited to write a review to see how the lights held up after a couple of weeks. Though our back yard has quite a bit of shading, the lights receive enough sunlight during the day to last well into the night without going out.One disappointment – my pack of 12 came with one non-functioning light right out of the box. The overall price was good enough that I opted not to return the entire set because of one bad light. Otherwise I would have given a 5-star overall review.

I like the lights are very bright. The product is one of the most sturdy product I have seen. We have an Australian Shepherd dog that likes to chew stuff. She got hold of three of my lights in the yard and chewed them up pretty bad. I am amazed all the lights still work. The lights illuminate the walking path very well and are very pretty to look at.The lights shine towards to sky, not the path itself. So although the light path shows where my walkway is, it does not show the ground I am walking on. If you need light to illustrate the path itself and see what the walking path itself, then it’s not a good light.

Pedí dos cajas de 16 unidades cada una. Compré con reserva porque había muchas opiniones de que desde nuevas algunas no prendian y no es el caso mio. Todas funcionaron perfecto al principio. Ya van exactamente 5 meses de uso en mi pais que no tiene estaciones ni climas extremos. La tapas plásticas que tapan el circuito de leds, se pusieron muy amarillas (ver foto). Ya no duran hasta la madrugada, todas ellas se empiezan a apagara despúes de 7 horas de uso. Se les puede cambiar la batería original que es de 600 mah y vuelven a trabajar como al principio aunque ya no se ven tan bonitas por el deterioro y la opacidad del policarbonato que las cubre. Solo a una de ellas le ha entrado agua.

I just went through Hurricane Beryl category 1 storm. It got up to 75 mile per hour winds and these solar lights stayed in the ground and were lit up when it was dark outside. Definitely recommend.

I actually ended up buying two sets. The first set I installed as they arrived and I noticed the tops coming off after a day or two from the grass pushing up and my robot mower hitting them. I pulled them up and several of the spikes were not in the next shape, I have some pretty hard dirt in my yard. The second set i superglued the tops down. They are fantastic, I can still reach the on off switch. My driveway glows clearly in the dark making if easy to see where to drive, and they are solar powered. I wish they held together a bit better on their own but the work around had worked nicely for me.

These are easy to install; just switch the switch to on and put the plastic ‘spike’ on behind it. They are not super bright for lighting up the place, like other lights can be. They are just right for highlighting a spot, like a fountain, or a part of the side of a house, etc.

I ordered these lights so I could light my flag at night rather than take it down each day. I got the 12 pack and unlike other “less star” reviews, each light worked the day I put them in. It only took a couple hours of daylight for them to charge. There is an “on/off” button and wonder if those less star reviewers noticed that. Some were switched on when I unwrapped them, some off. I hadn’t planned on using all of them, I wanted to keep a couple for replacements if needed for the five lights I put in my front landscaping and under the flag. I liked them so much that I used the rest in the landscaping along my house by the driveway.They give an subtle glow along my house and shrubs that I like. Not too bright, not to dim.Very easy to install and seem to stay put.I may order more for the back yard and use one of those to double up under the flag.If any issues come up, I’ll update. I can’t speak about how long they’ll last as I’ve only had them about a week.

At first, I was judgy and thought these were “cheap” feeling. But I waited to write a review. We got these because we have to back in to our driveway from the street and the hope was these would be runway lights.They work really well for this and we didn’t even use them all. I’m not easily “impressed” by stuff and these impressed all 3 of us who back in to the driveway.The ground isn’t soft, so I used a post hole digger staff to break ground for the spike. Then a wood block over the light to hammer in to place. They’ve stayed put and I’ve driven over a few with my 6 ton truck (29,900# gvwr) and they didn’t seem to care.Great little gizmos. If you’re curious if this kind of thing is right for you, go for it! Low price and great quality means if these don’t work, you’ll know enough what to do next and the cost is much less than the value of the lesson.

We installed these in the late afternoon and even the ones in shade lit up that night. I don’t know how long, but at least a couple hours. Granted, we’re in Arizona. I wouldn’t expect the same results in upstate NY where it’s overcast much more often than not.We just used a large screwdriver to dig holes and kind of dig an X in so we didn’t try to push the spikes in, but basically planted them.We didn’t need them (yet), but it’s nice they included 2 spare sets of spikes.
