It’s releases like this that give me an empty feeling. You get a real nice steelbook and a 4K movie and that’s it. No extras, not even a trailer, no digital code, nada. It’s a shame my old dvd has more extras, glad I held onto it. The picture quality is good, but not amazing. A very bland vanilla release of a great film.

I have long been a fan of this film and saw it for the first time on laserdisc back in the early 1990’s. The new 4K disc release is amazing. It appears to be a fantastic scan of the original negative, with no disgusting grain erasing (that just erases detail). This is a definitive release.

Sadly, I have to say I’m disappointed with this 4K version as it doesn’t seem to be much different from the standard 1080 P Blu-ray desk. Audio and video or not much of an improvement over the last version. It was a waste of money to purchase, and the price actually went down after I received it. Not a good purchase from Amazon.
