  We learned this game fairly quickly - in typical Exploding Kittens fashion they simply redirect you to a website to watch a video on how to play. Very easy and it works well. You're basically building pyramids while eyes are covered, in the empty top part of the box. The pieces have little dots sticking out that you can use to count the size. You have to build the pyramids in the correct order to score points. The really difficult part is that one of you is cheating and messing things up. Then you vote to try to kick out the mole/wombat. I like the idea of the game but it did get pretty difficult...it's one of those games where the chaos is what is supposed to make it fun and it just didn't work great for me and will impact the replay value for me.

  It's fine, really. You have to have the right size table so everyone can reach the box. Not all age groups are capable of being the nefarious character. We've had to modify the rules to enjoy playing. And we haven't played in a while.

  Easy to explain and play, gets very touchy feely, so make sure you're comfortable with the people you're playing with and getting your hand caressed by unknown people.

  The game is straightforward, depending on how many players there are, there will always be 1 bad wombat and the remaining good wombats will have their own limits to what they can or cannot do to build the tower.The bad wombat will try to sabotage the team by making sure the pyramids built are not in the correct order while the good team does vice versa. Points will be distributed depending on how many pyramids are successfully built by the end of each round. The first to hit 3 points, wins.This is about a 5 to15 minute game. With each round lasting about 90 seconds and a max of 5 rounds, that is about 7.5 minutes + maybe 3.5 minutes for discussion and resetting the pyramids.This is a fun short game that requires a lot of honesty as well. With everyone blindfolded, I can easily perform actions that may not be allowed. The game itself is not portable either, will need a decent size surface to play the game.

  all the games from exploding kittens are great. they are such a fun family game to play. we have a blast playing this with our kids. get this you'll love it.

  Watching my kid cousins can be a little rough sometimes, so we look for games that a few of us can play together. One of the kids is 6 and one is 7, but three of us play together and enjoy the blind chaos of the game. To keep us all honest, we wear those cheap sleep masks from Dollar Tree and that works pretty well. We have played it a ton in the past couple of weeks, with one of them constantly saying they"Wanna play the bombat games!" It's so stinking cute and the kids have tons of fun. Maybe when they're older we'll play more of the games by the folks that made Exploding Kittens... Between them and the Cyanide and Happiness games, they're go-to games for the grownups, and this is a great starter for the younger ones that shouldn't be playing the wilder stuff yet. It's super hands on and crazy chaotic sometimes, but it's amazing.

  I played this with my children, who are considerably older than the minimum age given on the box. They had a good time and said they would definitely play it with their friends. For my part, I won't mind if they take it and forget to return it. It's not that it's a bad game. It is easy to learn and play can be fun, but it has a few problems. It bothered all of us that they do not include a timer with the game. Yes, you can set a timer on your phone, but why should you have to? The lower age given on the box is 7, an age too young to expect a cell phone to be a convenient solution. The second problem is that you have to play it with your eyes closed. As you might expect, given the timer issue, there are no blindfolds included. I thought about using sleep masks, but then I realized that there is no real solution for the problem of players cheating. You can close your eyes, cover your eyes with your hand, or cover them with a blindfold of some kind, but there is no way for honest players to know if another player is cheating. Adults and older kids can understand that the game is more fun if everyone plays by the rules, but accusations of cheating could easily derail the game if played by a group of younger kids. Finally, you are grabbing pieces inside a relatively small box top, and your hand constantly bumps into the other players, and the pieces are touched by everyone. Before the pandemic I wouldn't have thought twice, but now I wonder if it is the smartest choice for game night for areas with a high COVID transmission rate.

  Fun quick game to play with the family or at a kids party. I suggest using some blind folds, makes for less cheating accusations

  This game is great. Learning how to play is effortless. I can easily teach friends how to play. The thing I dislike most about board games is learning how to play and this game has almost no learning curve. It's fun to play with a group of 3-4 friends. I like that it's fast paced and requires physical movement, so I feel like it's a more active game than most.

  My kid's favorite part about this game was The Oatmeal comic printed in the package. They had fun trying to build or wreck towers, but it was pretty easy to figure out who was the "bad" wombat. They played for about 15 minutes, giggling the whole time, but then decided to go play Exploding Kittens instead.
