Everyone in my family LOVES Exploding Kittens, so we were excited to try this new game by the same makers. We really enjoy Hand to Hand Wombat. And while Exploding Kittens remains our favorite (it's also much easier to travel with), this game is also a ton of fun. This game assigns a secret mole who tries to secretly destroy what the others are tasked with building. This is possible because the game is played with eyes shut, so no one can see what the other players are doing. But you can communicate with each other, and help each other. The graphics and materials are great. The strategy and game play is fun. My elementary and middle-school aged children really enjoy this game. The adults also enjoy it. This game is a fun way to spend some time together as a family away from the screens. My kids actually enjoy and look forward to playing this game together - keep making more games, Exploding Kittens!

The best part about this game is that anyone can learn how to play it around 3 minutes. the game is very fun to play and only takes about 15 minutes. The quality of the game pieces is great! This is a great game for the whole family.

After I read the directions for this game I thought is sounded stupid. I tend toward strategic games that involve playing by strict rules to achieve a worthy goal. Though playing such games is enjoyable, players do not normally laugh out loud and watching others play is not a thing. But playing Hand to Hand Wombat is actually FUN. And it is actually best played with a crowd of onlookers who will probably enjoy it even more than those playing. It works well for small family get-togethers where you have seniors who may not want, or be able to, participate but will love watching others try to complete their assigned tasks. The fact that rules are easily broken by players who are supposed to cover their eyes with one hand, actually adds to the fun. Tendencies are seen. Personalities come out. Joy results.I think this is also a game that works best when you have players from different age groups. It may not work very well for a group of 10 year-olds to play by themselves but a 9 or 10 year-old can easily be incorporated into a group of older players.

As much as we love games...and as much as we have heard how fun Exploding Kittens is, we've never played it. This game has been fun for the family, though! Whoever wrote the booklet that came in it should write a series of books. It is too funny and silly. It had the whole family laughing before we even got into game play. We like that this is unique compared to our other games. It's easy to learn and a lot of fun. Plus, the materials are nice quality

I got this game to add to our family games to play and my kids loved it. It's kind of silly, but my kids had a great time and they really enjoyed the booklet about wombats. I will say that this might be a better game for them to play with their friends because you play with your eyes closed and you have to stack blocks and figure out who is trying to sabatoge you. My kids always knew when it was me because they could recognize my hands with their eyes closed and just by feel. This wasn't so easy when it was their friends.

This relational game is physical and social at the same time. And it requires you to operate with your eyes shut even as you try and determine who's the traitor in the mix. So it's a whirl of action and fun, and especially fun as a parent to be watching others play.Good for three to six players, but certainly best for more rather than less. Also, kids have to be able to be trusted to understand the importance of not looking. But in the right crowd, this is great balls of fire fun, kind of like the card game PIT can get fun and wild. Or spoons.Get it. If you play as a family with kids you'll love it.

To be honest, I've never played any of these guys' games before, though I always heard good things. But this one sounded like good fun for our little family of three. Now every night my daughter asks us to play this, and she always laughs aloud when she thinks she fooled us as the wicked wombat. Overall, a blast to play, very simple rules to follow, and it's fun for the whole family!
